New class this year Hidden/visible disabilities Open to all adults and children with visible or hidden disabilities. Ridden class, walk and trot only. On or off lead rein. The use of any extra equipment to keep riders safe whilst riding is 100% allowed.

Anyone not complying with these rules may be asked to leave.
ABSOLUTELY NO telephone entries.
The organisers accept no liability for accidents to competitors, spectators, animals or equipment and shall not be responsible for
any loss, injury or damage. A condition of entry is that all competitors have a minimum of third party public liability
insurance cover.
The judge’s decision in all cases is final.
Health and safety: Everyone must take all reasonable precautions to avoid and prevent accidents and obey the instructions of
the organisers and stewards. NO SMOKING ON ANY PART OF ANY EVENT PREMISES INSIDE OR OUTSIDE, INCLUDING
PARKING AREAS.
All times published are approximate and for guidance only.
Ridden horses and ponies must be 4 years of age or older.
Animal Control: No galloping or lungeing on the show ground or in the car park. Strictly no dogs, due to Sparsholt EC policy. No
horses or ponies to be tied to horse boxes / trailers unsupervised.
Please leave the parking areas clean and tidy: ABSOLUTELY NO mucking out of horse trailers / lorries and please remove ALL
loose hay and droppings.
The Organisers reserve the right to cancel the show, alter any judge, divide, amalgamate or close classes. In case of cancellation,
entry fees will be refunded, less £3 per rider to cover administration costs, within 28 days.
Refund of entry fees: As a general rule, refunds will not be permitted and are at the discretion of the event organising committee
member. If your space can be filled then a refund may be allowed, minus any booking fees.
Health & safety: As organisers & managers of Winchester Riding Club we take all reasonable precautions to ensure the health &
safety of everyone present at our activities .However, horse riding is a risk sport, and consequently we do not accept liability for
any loss, accident or damage to any person, animal, vehicle or goods occurring in connection with any of our events. Instructions
of the organisers and all WRC officials and stewards must be adhered to at all times.
Fall of horse /rider: As a club we have a duty of care to our members/riders. Therefore, for the avoidance of doubt, the following
procedure will apply at all WRC events: If you have a fall (horse or rider) anywhere at a WRC venue you may not remount until
your situation has been assessed and discussed with two 1st aid trained committee members or an authorised trainer & one
committee member.
Riding Hat: Should now have the standard, PAS 015:2011, SNELL 2016, VG1 01.040 2014-12 with either a BSI Kitemark or a
Inspec IC Mark, ASTM F1163 2004a or 04a onwards which must have a SEI mark or AS/NZS 3838 2006 onwards which must
have a SAI Global Mark.
Body protectors are recommended: These should have the 2009 specification or above, and note for events from the 1st January
2024, 2010 standard is then mandatory. You should only ride in a body protector with a BETA 2018 label in.
