We regret that that there can be no refunds or transfers of entry fees after close of entries unless a veterinary or medical certificate is produced within 7 days of the event or the space filled from any wait list. HEALTH AND SAFETY The organisers and land owners have taken all reasonable precautions to ensure the health and safety of everyone present. For these measures to be effective everyone must obey the instructions of the organisers, officials, and stewards and take all reasonable precautions to avoid and prevent accidents occurring.
INSURANCE All Riding Club Members are covered by third party insurance when attending a Riding Club Event. Anyone attending the event who is NOT a riding club member should take out their own third-party insurance. Hats must be worn whenever mounted or handling a horse and conform to current BRC Rules – Harnesses must be correctly adjusted and fastened. No head cams allowed. Correct dress and footwear with defined heels must be worn. All horses and ponies must be 4 yrs old and over Entries accepted at rider’s risk. VEC reserve the right to refuse an entry at their discretion, cancel, amend or amalgamate any class for any reason whatsoever. The judge’s decision is final. Working in will be in the outdoor school. Tests ridden indoors on a surface. Please respect the facilities and do not tie any hay nets to the outside of your lorry/trailer or leave any horse tied up and unattended. Please also make sure that you clear any droppings, hay debris, etc. from around your vehicle.
PRIVACY POLICY Competitor results information may be published in printed form and online by VEC and by entering into a class you agree that VEC may use any personal contact information you provide in order to contact you about future shows and share competition results with relevant third parties Attending photographer [if any] will be Kev Cant. Please speak to him directly if you do not wish to have any photographs taken of you/child/pony etc. If you require a commander for your test. please make your own arrangements prior to the event as we cannot guarantee that there will be a steward available at any specific time.

Horse Welfare
Vectis Riding Club takes the health & welfare of horses and ponies extremely seriously. We focus on the highest standards of equine welfare and veterinary care. The Show will be strictly enforcing that all Riders should be of an appropriate size and weight for the horse/pony being ridden anywhere on the showground, including the Horsebox Park. Riders deemed oversized for their mount will be asked to dismount by a Show Official or Steward; and may be ineligible to compete as a combination.
