Riding Club pony incorporating the riding club pony amateur of the year qualifier. Open riding club pony, mare or gelding, 4 years old or over. Not exceeding 148cms. Lead reins not permitted.
Championship for those placed first or second in classes 6-14.
In classes 1-14 the two highest placed exhibits not already qualified will qualify for the relevant amateur of the Year final class to be held at Stoneleigh Park, Warwickshire on 29th and 30th November 2025.
Exhibits do not need to be TSR members to qualify – TSR membership will be required for them to compete in the final.
Please refer to the TSR Amateur Handbook for amateur definitions relevant to these classes which can be found at www.theshowingregister.co.uk – TSR shows-TSR Handbook. Please ensure that you are familiar with these rules if you claim a qualification card in one of these classes.

Entries £10 per class if pre-entered (classes in rings 1-3)
Entries on the day £12 on the day, until class is full if there is space (cash only)

• HATS must be worn whenever mounted and should be to the correct current standard.

• BODY PROTECTORS may be worn in working hunter classes, if one is used it must comply with current safety standards.
• CORRECT dress & footwear with defined heels must be worn.
• ALL ridden horses and ponies must be four years old and over.
• ALL Riders to be 4-years old and over (on day of show)
• ENTRIES accepted at rider’s risk. SRC reserve the right to refuse an entry at their discretion, cancel, amend or amalgamate any class for any reason whatsoever. The Judge’s decision is final.
• INSURANCE It is a condition of entry that each competitor must carry their own liability insurance whether Riding Club, Pony Club, BHS, BS, BD, BE or independent cover.
• HEALTH & SAFETY The organisers of this event have taken reasonable precautions to ensure the health and safety of everyone present. For these measures to be effective everyone must take all reasonable precautions to avoid and prevent accidents occurring and must obey the instructions of the organisers and all the officials and stewards. Those attending this event must report any accidents to the secretary or organizer of the event.
• Please do not leave unattended horses tied to lorries and no hay nets to be tied to the outside of lorries or trailers.
• Solihull Riding Club welcomes responsible dog owners. Dogs must be always kept on a lead.
• DISCLAIMER OF LIABILITY saves for the death or injury caused by the negligence of the organisers of the event, no liability is accepted for any accident, loss or damage, injury or illness to horses, ponies, owners, riders, spectators, vehicles their contents and accessories or any other person or property whatsoever, whether caused by their negligence, breach of contract or in any way whatsoever.
• Spurs may only be worn by adult riders (on horses)
• Any objections or complaints MUST be done so through a legitimate complaints procedure. You must place a £20.00 deposit alongside your written complaint. This complaint will then be assessed by the executive committee. If your complaint is found to be legitimate, you will be refunded your £20.00.
• No refunds after closing date of entries. To obtain a refund you must provide a vet certificate/doctors note stating reason for withdrawl.
