Show Information

Pre booked entries at reduced price of £12 per class. On the day entries charged at £15

All bookings include a one day membership to the club.

Please note that there will be images taken and used on JLRC social media. 

Payment Details & Event Fees

Payment is secure and it goes directly John Lake Riding Club.
You will receive an email confirmation of your booking and payment.
Single Phase Classes pre entry £12 per class or pay on the day £15 per class.
Clear Round pre entry £10 per round or pay on the day £12 per round.

Prize Information

Rosettes 1st to 6th place (Junior and Senior) and collect points for the end of season league.

Refreshments:

 Refreshements, tea. coffee, bacon rolls etc availiable in the farm cafe.

Terms & Conditions

The John Lake Riding Club (JLRC) has taken all reasonable precautions to ensure the health and safety of everyone present. For these measures to be effective, everyone must take all reasonable precautions to avoid and prevent accidents occurring and they must obey the instructions of the committee whether written or verbal.
JLRC shall not be liable for any claim in respect of damage, loss, injury or accident to any person, horse or property however so caused. It shall be deemed a condition of entry and participation that each entrant has read and under- stood these terms and conditions and shall indemnify JLRC or any person acting on their behalf against any legal action arising from such an incident.
All pre entries are taken online and must be paid for at the time of booking. The committee reserves the right to refuse entry.
No refunds will be given on entries.
Judge’s decision is final.
Hard hats to current PAS 015 (2011), VG1 01.040 (2014-12), BS EN1384 (2023), or ASTM F1163 (2004a or 04a onwards) all with BSI Kitemark or Inspec IC Mark must be worn and correctly secured at all times when mounted. The club strongly recommends the use of back protection at all events particularly by children.
Horses that kick must display red ribbons in their tail. All stallions must have red/white/blue ribbons in their tail.
Lorries and trailers are NOT to be mucked out onto the showground. Please place hay, droppings etc. in wheelbarrow provided.
All dogs must be kept on a lead. No EXTENDABLE LEADS PLEASE and dog mess must be cleared up immediately. All children under the age of 16 must be supervised by a responsible adult at all times.
Any horse or pony must be over the age of 4 years at time of entry.
Correct dress must be worn while competing:
In show jumping – riding or hacking jacket, jodhpurs, long or short boots

The practice jump must always be jumped in the correct direction (i.e red flag on right)
Any complaints should be given in writing to the secretary on the day with a £10 deposit. The deposit will be re- turned only if the complaint is upheld.
