This booking is for MKRC CAMP, 10-12th April 2026.
Junior camp at the fabulous venue of Milton Keynes Eventing Centre. Spaces are limited.
For riders aged 12-17, with an accompanying adult.
Juniors must be accompanied by an adult, so please book either an additional full price camper space if the adult also wishes to bring a horse and have lessons, or book an accompanying adult space (Class 4) if they do not want to ride.
Non-riding adults are charged £72 which covers all your camping & catering costs.
This is a fully catered, residential camp for you and your horse, with like-minded people. This will be a small camp with limited numbers, which gives us flexibility to adjust plans to suit your needs as required.
Instructor booked - Jane Hussell. We will book an additional instructor if sufficient entries.
We are planning Flatwork, Gridwork, Showjumping and Cross Country lessons (on either the main xc course or the mini field, depending on your experience). If you don't want to jump, alternative lessons can be arranged.
The provisional ride timetable will be emailed to you in advance.
Arrive Friday lunchtime, 1 lesson Friday afternoon. 2 lessons on Saturday and 1 lesson on Sunday morning. Leave after lunch on Sunday.
Suitable for all levels from inexperienced or nervous riders & horses up to those who are out competing regularly.
We will have the use of the lovely clubhouse with toilets, showers, sofas, plug sockets and fridge. 60 x 40m sand menage, grass arenas, super XC course, stables, paddocks and camping field.
Delicious and plentiful meals are provided by Nicole & Tom, plus soft drinks, teas & coffee. You can let us know about any special dietary needs on your booking.
Friday: dinner; Saturday: breakfast, lunch & dinner; Sunday: breakfast & lunch.
If any additional visitors would like to join us for any meals, these MUST be booked in advance, at a cost of £12 per meal. Please email miltonkeynesridingclub@gmail.com if you would like to book any additional meals for visitors.
Bring your own sleeping accomodation - lorry, caravan or tent. Hook-up available at extra cost of £20, payable cash on arrival. Please note on your entry if you do require hook-up as places are limited. When the hook-ups are all booked, this will be noted on this entry form.
Stables on grass provided with some bedding. Please bring your own water buckets, feed and mucking out equipment. Some larger stables are available for larger horses. Turnout available during the day in small individual paddocks.
Hay/haylage and additional shavings will be available to purchase from MKEC if required, or you may bring your own. Shavings £9 per bale. Hay or haylage £10 per horse for the weekend.
Stables must be mucked-out, and fields poo-picked, when you leave or the club will be charged.
Camp payment accepted in full (enter Class 1), or you can spread the payment (Classes 2 & 3) but you will be charged the £1.50 booking fee twice if you spread the payment.
