Millie is a positive reinforcement trainer who specialises in helping owners understand subtle equine body language, how to recognise different behaviour signals and find the root cause of possible behavioural problems. Her ethos is to help owners find an ethical, force free way of training whether that’s to help with loading issues, fears, trauma, target training, owner confidence, spook busting or simply wanting a better understanding of positive reinforcement to help improve your relationship with your horse. Spook busting is a fantastic way to help both Horse and Owner prepare for obstacles they may face out on hacks, competitions or day to day life. Completed in hand in small groups of up to 5 with Millie spending time with each individual. She uses positive reinforcement with clicker training to build confidence in obstacles some horses may find ‘spooky’. Teaching you how to use this same method when your horse might find something scary at home.

A few things to know from Millie:
• Please ensure you wear a riding helmet and suitable boots. I also recommend wearing gloves. Horses can wear a headcollar/halter and suitable leadrope. You are welcome to bring a bridle, but please, no control halters (dually halters, etc)
• Please aim to arrive 10 mins before your session to allow yourself time to get ready. There is plenty of parking at Contessa.
• the most important detail... enjoy yourself!! I've designed this clinic for both you and your horse to learn and have fun.
• We will finish the clinic with a fun competition and rosettes from 1st to 5th place. We look forward to seeing you all there!

Withdrawals/Refunds

No refunds available unless clinic cancelled by instructor due to unforeseen circumstances.

 Correct attire must be worn, adhering to guidance set out in British Riding Clubs rule book.

Please leave yard clean and tidy. No riding in outdoor menage.
