SJ FORMAT

This will be run on the one round format on a surface with the warm up on grass. 1 round divided into 2 sections. first section-time allowed, second section -against the clock

Horses can only enter classes of 2 consecutive heights (i.e. 80cm and 90cm or 70cm and 80cm). Juniors and seniors may share a horse, provided they compete at consecutive heights or in restricted classes.  For mixed classes a horse may only compete once.

·        It is the rider’s responsibility to ensure that they have read the rule book and that both the horse and rider are eligible and comply with the rules. 

• Riders must be a current paid member at close of prelim entries.
• Hats must be kitemarked in accordance with current rulebook requirements.  All members to have their hats tagged (with a HOT PINK tag) before competing.
• A body protector is not obligatory for show jumping competitions. However, competitors may wear an up to standard body protector should they wish to, for an up-to-date list of standards for body protectors please see the BRC handbook. Riders wearing Exo Body Cage protectors must inform the secretary at all events, so as paramedics can be informed.

• Please ensure that you are willing and able to compete at the Championships prior to entering.
• All competitors should enter with the expectation they will cover their own championships fees. KRC's reimbursement of these fees will be at the discretion of the committee standing at the time of the Championship.
• Horses Passports must be checked by sending a clear photo to h.mcintosh@ntlworld.com
• All horses must have valid and up to date flu vacs in accordance of rule G7 of the BRC rulebook; (no boosters within 6 days of competition). If you are unsure, please contact krctamsyn@gmail.com
• Hair must be neatly secured and should not hang lower than the shoulder line when standing normally. Any item of jewellery or alternative medical treatment wrist bands should be covered up by clothing or gloves, if they cannot be removed and are worn at the riders' own risk.
• Horses must not be left unattended whilst tied up to your lorry/trailer
• Objections must be made within 15 mins of the incident and must be accompanied by £15, which will be refunded if the objection is sustained.
• An adult must supervise children at all times
• Please remove all droppings/hay from the lorry park.

 No refunds will be given after the closing date unless a replacement can be found
