Stewards shall when possible deal with objectons and when necessary call the Veterinary surgeon to examine the exhibit. If the decision is not accepted by the objector, the issue will be dealt with by the Secton Commitee at the next meetng afer show day. 6 All exhibitors are responsible for their animals at all tmes. No animal is to be lef unatended when ted to the outside of Lorries or trailers. 7 All exhibitors must proceed at WALKING PACE unless in designated exercise/warm up areas. 8 Space does not allow for a specifc area to lunge a horse or pony; therefore, lunging is not permited anywhere on the show feld in the interest of public safety. 9 Classes with fewer entries than three, may be cancelled or amalgamated with another class, at the Horse Secton Secretary’s decision. Exhibitors will be notfed at least 5 days before show day, if this occurs. In classes with four on less entries, prizes will only be awarded to 2nd place. 10 Joint measurement height certfcates will be accepted where proof of height is required. 11 In Showing, a novice animal is one that has not won a frst prize prior to the entries closing date. 12 All entrants will receive 1 pass for the rider/handler for up to 2 exhibits entered and 2 passes for 3 or more exhibits entered, plus 1 pass for the driver of the vehicle and 1 vehicle pass. ONLINE ENTRIES CLOSE AT MIDNIGHT ON SUNDAY 24TH AUGUST 2025. 14 The organisers of the show have reasonable precautons to ensure the health and safety of everyone present. For these measures to be effectve everyone must take all reasonable precautons to avoid and prevent accidents from occurring and must obey the instructon of the organisers and the ofcials and stewards. 15 Only Champions from each secton will go forward to the ‘Best in Show’. 16 Although a Public Address System is provided, the show has no responsibility for ensuring sound coverage across the whole showground. It is therefore each compettor’s responsibility to ensure they present themselves and their exhibit in the ring at the tme of their chosen class. 17 A fall of horse or rider in any of the ridden classes will result in eliminaton of the rider from that class. The rider is strongly advised to see the on site medical team before contnuing to compete in any other classes. This rule will apply in 2025 to all ridden classes except those afliated to Britsh Show jumping, whose own rule on this subject will apply in these Britsh Show jumping classes. (213:1 One fall eliminates horse and rider. The rider may not atempt another fence but must leave the arena immediately, mounted or dismounted. 213:3 The frst fall of the horse and/or rider afer entering the arena before completng the course incurs eliminaton in any competton.) 18 All compettors, when riding on the showground must wear the assigned and clearly visible back or bridle number.5 19 Dogs are not encouraged in the horse area and must be kept on a short ead at all tmes whilst on the showground. 20. Failure to exhibit any animal entered will entail forfeiture of entry fees. 21. All horses atending the Show must have up-to-date vaccinatons. 22. All animals ridden anywhere on the Showground, rings or lorry parks (day or night), must only be ridden by a rider whose size and weight does not compromise the animal’s welfare. We are operatng under the 20% rider weight guideline where the rider in full riding atre with full tack must be less than 20% of the animal’s bodyweight. This is based on a relatvely ft, healthy animal, as an overweight animal is also a welfare concern.
