Prize Information
All prize money for all Equine classes (inc Show Jumping) will be paid by Cash 4 Events Mobile Bank Unit sited near the Main Entrance from 10:00-18:00 on Show Day. It is the compettor’s responsibility to have correctly completed prize slips and to present them at the Cash 4 Events Mobile Bank to receive all prize monies due. No prize money will be forwarded to compettors after Show Day.

Withdrawals/Refunds
Affiliated shows are required to repay 50 % of the entry fees in respect of all entry cancellations which are received by the Show Organiser not later than 48 hours before noon of the day on which the first affiliated competition of the show is scheduled to start except in those circumstances outlined in Rule 79.5.

Terms & Conditions
1 Unafliated classes are open to horses or ponies who are not registered or afliated to the relevant society in 2025 2 No horse/pony bred by, owned by or purchased from the yard of a judge is to be shown under that judge. 3 Only hats with the following are up to standard with the new bhs hat rulesPAS 015 2021 VG1 01.040 (2014-12) ASTM F1163 (2004a or 04a onwards) SNELL E2016 AS/NZS 3838 (2006 onwards) Please ensure you hat is up to any one of these standard. Spots checks will be in place, more informaton is available on Google re new hat standards on the bhs website. 4 Earrings and body piercings must not be worn. 5 All objectons must be delivered in writng to the horse secton secretary (Show Jumping Secretary for classes 112-130) within one hour of the class being judged with a deposit of £50 which will be forfeited if the objecton is considered frivolous or lost. Stewards shall when possible deal with objectons and when necessary call the Veterinary surgeon to examine the exhibit. If the decision is not accepted by the objector, the issue will be dealt with by the Secton Commitee at the next meetng afer show day. 6 All exhibitors are responsible for their animals at all tmes. No animal is to be lef unatended when ted to the outside of Lorries or trailers. 7 All exhibitors must proceed at WALKING PACE unless in designated exercise/warm up areas. 8 Space does not allow for a specifc area to lunge a horse or pony; therefore, lunging is not permited anywhere on the show feld in the interest of public safety. 9 Classes with fewer entries than three, may be cancelled or amalgamated with another class, at the Horse Secton Secretary’s decision. Exhibitors will be notfed at least 5 days before show day, if this occurs. In classes with four on less entries, prizes will only be awarded to 2nd place. 10 Joint measurement height certfcates will be accepted where proof of height is required. 11 In Showing, a novice animal is one that has not won a frst prize prior to the entries closing date. 12 All entrants will receive 1 pass for the rider/handler for up to 2 exhibits entered and 2 passes for 3 or more exhibits entered, plus 1 pass for the driver of the vehicle and 1 vehicle pass. Please note that these will be sent via email (unless entry is received via post, when passes will be posted). Back numbers must be collected from the Showjumping Secton Secretary’s tent on show day - for SHOW JUMPING ENTRANTS ONLY. Showing & Dressage Compettors to wear bridle numbers (worn on the off side) or self-printed allocated compettor number, THESE WILL NOT BE SENT TO ANY COMPETITOR VIA POST OR EMAIL 13 POSTAL ENTRIES CLOSE ON 17TH AUGUST 2025 LATE POSTAL ENTRIES WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED IN ANY SHOWING CLASSES. ONLINE ENTRIES CLOSE AT MIDNIGHT ON SUNDAY 24TH AUGUST 2025. 14 The organisers of the show have reasonable precautons to ensure the health and safety of everyone present. For these measures to be effectve everyone must take all reasonable precautons to avoid and prevent accidents from occurring and must obey the instructon of the organisers and the ofcials and stewards. 15 Only Champions from each secton will go forward to the ‘Best in Show’. 16 Although a Public Address System is provided, the show has no responsibility for ensuring sound coverage across the whole showground. It is therefore each compettor’s responsibility to ensure they present themselves and their exhibit in the ring at the tme of their chosen class. 17 A fall of horse or rider in any of the ridden classes will result in eliminaton of the rider from that class. The rider is strongly advised to see the on site medical team before contnuing to compete in any other classes. This rule will apply in 2025 to all ridden classes except those afliated to Britsh Show jumping, whose own rule on this subject will apply in these Britsh Show jumping classes. (213:1 One fall eliminates horse and rider. The rider may not atempt another fence but must leave the arena immediately, mounted or dismounted. 213:3 The frst fall of the horse and/or rider afer entering the arena before completng the course incurs eliminaton in any competton.) 18 All compettors, when riding on the showground must wear the assigned and clearly visible back or bridle number.5 19 Dogs are not encouraged in the horse area and must be kept on a short ead at all tmes whilst on the showground. 20. Failure to exhibit any animal entered will entail forfeiture of entry fees. 21. All horses atending the Show must have up-to-date vaccinatons. 22. All animals ridden anywhere on the Showground, rings or lorry parks (day or night), must only be ridden by a rider whose size and weight does not compromise the animal’s welfare. We are operatng under the 20% rider weight guideline where the rider in full riding atre with full tack must be less than 20% of the animal’s bodyweight. This is based on a relatvely ft, healthy animal, as an overweight animal is also a welfare concern.
