Lucy Gasston a 2* International event rider and BHS Accredited Coach with a very motivating and driven style of teaching together with and Rebecca Gibbs a 5* event rider will join forces to give you a full day workshop.

Each rider in groups (3/4) will have a flatwork session working on test riding and dressage from an “eventers perspective” You will be grouped accordingly and at the end of the session will ride through a test.

There will be a group course walk with Lucy Gasston (learning the course and how to use your arena, ALSO looking at how to ride jump off turns and knock off those all-important extra seconds) Riders will then get a jumping warm up/ lesson (working on exercises that you can use in a warm up at a show or specific for you and your horse). You will then individually jump around the course; this will be videoed and will be available to watch on the big screen. The course will include 14 jumps, with the latter half incorporating a jump off section, which you will run through in your lesson.

All riders will receive a massage (neck/back and shoulder) in our tea room by a qualified therapist.

The day will also include lunch and ice creams for everyone to enjoy together and plenty of tea, coffee and biscuits will be available throughout the day.

A unique and invaluable experience learning about how to use your warm ups effectively for course riding and learning about test riding from an eventer’s perspective. There will only be 12 spaces for this training day due to the light and timetable. Open to all levels of ability. £120 per person.
