- ALL COURSES WILL BE AVAILABLE FOR WALKING FROM 2.00PM FRIDAY 13TH JUNE 2025. PLEASE NOTE THERE IS AN EVENT ON SATURDAY 14TH JUNE, AND THE SJ & XC COURSES WILL BE LIVE.

- It is the rider’s responsibility to ensure that they have read the rule book and that both the horse and rider are eligible and comply with the rules. ELIGIBILITY FOR ALL CLASSES CAN BE FOUND IN THE CURRENT BRC HANDBOOK. ELIGIBILITY WILL BE TAKEN FROM THE CLOSE OF PREENTRIES. ALL COMPETITORS MUST BE REGISTERED MEMBERS ON THE BRC MEMBERSHIP PLATFORM (SPORT:80) THE LAST WORKING DAY BEFORE THE COMPETITION DATE. ANYONE FAILING TO MEET THE ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA WILL BE DISQUALIFIED AND INFORMED BY BRC HQ WHEN THE RESULTS ARE PROCESSED.
- Riders must be a current paid member at close of prelim entries.
- ALL HATS MUST HAVE A VISIBLE HOT PINK BRC/BE/PC HAT TAG IN PLACE BEFORE THEY ARE WORN ON THE SHOWGROUND, TO SHOW THAT THEY MEET THE CURRENT SAFETY STANDARDS. THERE WILL BE A TRAINED OFFICIAL AVAILABLE ON THE DAY TO DO THIS FOR YOU IF YOUR HAT DOES NOT CURRENTLY HAVE ONE. FOR UP TO DATE HAT RULES PLEASE SEE THE CURRENT BRC HANDBOOK. HATS MUST NOT HAVE A FIXED PEAK IN ANY DISCIPLINE WHERE THERE ARE FIXED CROSS COUNTRY FENCES INVOLVED, HOWEVER FIXED PEAKS CAN BE USED, FOR DRESSAGE AND SHOW JUMPING ONLY. HORSES CAN ONLY ENTER ONCE, SO NO HORSE CAN BE RIDDEN IN TWO CLASSES, WITH RIDERS COMPETING IN CONSECUTIVE HEIGHTS ONLY. (I.E. 80CM AND 90CM) FOR 70CM ENTRIES, RIDERS CANNOT HAVE COMPETED AT BE90 OR BRC90 HT IN THE CURRENT YEAR AT THE CLOSE OF ENTRIES. HORSES CAN BE REGISTERED WITH BE HOWEVER ARE NOT TO HAVE ANY POINTS AND CANNOT HAVE COMPETED AT BE90 OR BRC90 HT IN THE PREVIOUS 12 MONTHS. - Medical Arm Bands are strongly recommended
- A BODY PROTECTOR IS OBLIGATORY IN ALL CROSS-COUNTRY COMPETITIONS. BLUE 2018 LEVEL 3 LABEL IS NOW THE ONLY ACCEPTED STANDARD FOR BODY PROTECTORS. PLEASE SEE THE CURRENT BRC HANDBOOK FOR FURTHER DETAILS. RIDERS WEARING EXO BODY CAGE PROTECTORS MUST INFORM THE SECRETARY AT ALL EVENTS, SO AS PARAMEDICS CAN BE INFORMED.
- All competing horses and ponies must have up to date flu vaccinations and comply with BRC rules.
- IT IS COMPULSORY THAT EVERY PERSON ENTERING THE ONE-DAY EVENT UNDER 18 YEARS OF AGE IS ACCOMPANIED BY A RESPONSIBLE ADULT.
- DOGS ARE PERMITTED PROVIDED THEY ALWAYS REMAIN ON A SHORT LEAD.
- HORSEBOXES MUST NOT BE MUCKED OUT ON SITE.
- THE OWNER AND ORGANISER OF THE EVENT RESERVE THE RIGHT TO REMOVE ANYONE FROM THE EVENT SITE AT ANY TIME WITHOUT GIVING A REASON.
- NO RIDING OR LEADING OF HORSES IN ANY AREA THAT IS MARKED AS OUT OF BOUNDS. FAILURE TO ADHERE WILL RESULT IN BEING ELIMINATED AND REMOVED FROM THE SITE
- THERE WILL BE PARAMEDICS AND A VET ON SITE THROUGHOUT THE COURSE OF THE COMPETITION.
- HORSES MUST BE AT LEAST 4 YEARS OF AGE. THE AGE WILL BE CALCULATED FROM 1ST JANUARY IN THE YEAR IN WHICH IT WAS FOALED. 8. ANY RIDER WHO FALLS ANYWHERE ON SITE MUST BE CHECKED BY A PARAMEDIC PRIOR TO LEAVING THE SITE.
- OUTSIDE ASSISTANCE IS FORBIDDEN AND WILL RESULT IN ELIMINATION.
- ANYONE ON THE EVENT SITE MUST EXPECT TO HAVE THEIR PHOTOGRAPH TAKEN AND WE RESERVE THE RIGHT TO PUBLISH SUITABLE PHOTOGRAPHS ALONG WITH NAMES IF RELEVANT. IF YOU DO NOT WISH FOR YOUR PHOTOGRAPH TO BE TAKEN, PLEASE INFORM THE SECRETARY.
- THE EVENT SITE OWNER NOR ORGANISER DOES NOT INSURE THE RIDER, YOUR HORSE, YOUR TACK OR YOUR EQUIPMENT. YOU ARE STRONGLY ADVISED TO HAVE IN PLACE YOUR OWN ADEQUATE INSURANCE AT ALL TIMES. THE VENUE, NOR ANYONE INCLUDED IN THE ORGANISATION OF THE EVENT WILL NOT BE HELD RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY ACCIDENT, INJURY OR LOSS TO ANY PERSON OR THEIR PROPERTY HOWEVER THIS MAY BE CAUSED. RIDING HORSES IS A HIGH-RISK SPORT AND RIDERS TAKING PART IN THIS EVENT ACKNOWLEDGE THIS AND DO SO AT THEIR OWN RISK AND THAT THE ORGANISERS AND LAND OWNER WILL NOT BE ACCOUNTABLE OR RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY LOSS, DAMAGE OR INJURY TO THE RIDER, HORSE OR EQUIPMENT CAUSED, INCLUDING COVID-19.
- ALL LITTER MUST BE DISPOSED OF IN THE BINS PROVIDED OR TAKEN WITH YOU.
- The decisions of the judges and/or the official stewards are final. If cancelled, administrative fees will be taken out of any refund.
- All competitors should enter with the expectation they will cover their own championships fees. KRC's reimbursement of these fees will be at the discretion of the committee standing at the time of the Championship.
- Callers are allowed at the dressage phase at the qualifier but not at the Championships
