British Riding Clubs Horse Trials Qualifier at Ely Eventing Centre, Downham Common, Little Downham, Ely, CB6 2TY.
This consists of dressage, showjumping & cross country.  All phases will be on grass. 

Entries open until 25th May, and then a £5 late fee will be added to the entry fee, as BRC charge us this if entered less than 3 weeks before the event.
Milton Keynes Riding Club members only - members of other Area 7 clubs, please enter directly with your own club.

70 - 100cm competition. All classes are mixed age group, so seniors & juniors compete together.  Individuals & Teams of 3 or 4.  To be run under BRC rules.

70cm, BE90 Dressage 91 (2009)
80cm
, BE90 Dressage 92 (2009)
90cm, BE90 Dressage 95 (2012)
100cm, BE100 Dressage 101 (2009)

The Championship will be held 2-3rd August 2025 at Swalcliffe Park Equestrian, OX15 5EX

Entry fee £77.  There is no additional start fee to pay on the day.

Horses can only enter once, so no horse can be ridden in two classes. Riders may only compete in consecutive heights.

An event like this requires a lot of helpers otherwise it cannot take place.  Please be prepared to help for a while, or bring a helper with you. .

Official times should be published on www.ridingclubresults.co.uk by 12th June.
Courses will be available for walking from 2pm Friday 13 June.  There is another event at the venue on 14th and the courses will be LIVE.

Please print out your own numbers for your bib (front & back) once the start list has been published. 

Your horse must be microchipped and have up to date annual influenza vaccinations in line with rule G7 in the current BRC Rulebook, and must not have been vaccinated in the 6 days preceeding the competition.
Horses must be at least 4 years of age. The age is calculated from 1st Jan in the year in which it was foaled.

Hats must have a HOT PINK BRC/BE/PC hat tag before they are worn on the showground, to show that they meet the current safety standards.  There will be a trained offical available on the day to check & tag hats if your hat does not currently have one.  Hats must not have a fixed peak for cross country but can be worn for dressage & showjumping.  
A body protector is obligatory in cross country. The blue 2018 Level 3 label is now the only accepted standard for body protectors. Riders wearing an Exo Body Cage protector must inform the secretary, so paramedics can be informed.
Plz check the BRC rulebook or contact the team manager if you are unsure.

Outside assistance is forbidden and will result in elimination.

It is compulsory that every person entering, who is under 18, must be accompanied by a responsible adult.
Dogs are permitted onsite but must be kept on a short lead.
Horseboxes must NOT be mucked out onsite. All litter must be disposed of in bins provided or taken home with you.
Paramedics & a vet will be onsite throughout the competition.  Any rider who falls anywhere onsite must be checked by a paramedic before leaving.
Photographers will be present and the organisers reserve the right to publish photographs along with names. If you do not wish for your photograph to be taken, please inform the secretary.
No riding or leading of horses in any area that is marked as out of bounds. Failure  to adhere will result in being eliminated and removed from the site.

The event site owner nor organiser does not insure the rider or your horse, tack or equipment.  You are strongly advised to have in place your own adequate insurance at all times.  The venue, nor anyone included in the organisation of the event will not be held responsible for ANY accident, injury or loss to any person or their property however this may be caused. Riding horses is a high-risk sport and riders taking part in this event acknowledge this and do so at their own risk and that the organisers and land owner will not be accountable or responsible for any loss, damage or injury to the rider, horse or equipment caused, including Covid-19.

Payment is secure and it goes directly to MKRC.
You will receive an email confirmation of your booking and payment.
 

Withdrawals/Refunds

If you need to withdraw please notifiy us by email to miltonkeynesridingclub@gmail.com as soon as possible.  Withdrawals will not receive a refund once entries have been made to BRC, unless a replacement can be found to take your place, as the club is commited at this point to pay the fees to the organiser.
