We now accept card payments at the show for entries.

Payment is secure and it goes directly to Kimpton Horse Show.
You will receive an email confirmation of your class entry and payment.
A First Aid fee of £3 per competitor also applies. This is payable once per competitor regardless of how many classes are entered.
The Harding Perpetual Challenge Trophy
This Trophy will be awarded to the combination of horse and rider who accumulates the greatest number of points throughout the Show. Points will be awarded in all classes except Gymkhana, Fancy Dress, Personality Pony and Clear Round Jumping, as follows:
1st. Place - 12 Points 2nd. Place - 8 Points
3rd. Place - 4 Points 4th. Place - 2 Points
The Martin Wilkinson Master Saddlers Wren Perpetual Challenge Trophy
This Trophy will be awarded to the combination of horse and rider who accumulate the second greatest number of points throughout the Show.
Both the Wren and Harding Trophies stay with the committee throughout the year.
All Championship trophies are perpetual challenge trophies and therefore must be returned within 1 year. A deposit of £30 will be required for each cup taken from the showground. An administration fee of £5 will be charged if the cups are not returned by June 30th for the coming year’s show. We reserve the right to issue replica trophies.
All class trophies are for winners to take home and keep.

Concours d’Elegance Society of GB
First, second and third placed horses/ponies not already qualified in eligible classes will qualify for the Champion of Britain Title classes to be held at Onley Grounds Equestrian Centre on 26th-27th August 2025. If a horse/pony has already qualified, cards may be handed down to 6th place at the judge’s discretion. Each qualified horse/pony will receive a qualification card in the ring which will enable the owner to enter the Championship Show, provided the owner and rider/handler are, or become, registered with the Concours d’Elegance Society within 21 days of the qualifying show. The Sunshine Tour
This show is a qualifier for The Sunshine Tour Championships held at The All England Jumping Course, Hickstead from 11th-14th September 2025. The Championships are for unaffiliated and amateur competitors in Dressage from Intro to Elementary, Show Jumping from Lead Rein to 1.05m; Showing for lead rein, in-hand, ridden, working hunter, veterans, plus many more, Eventers Challenge from 60cm through to 1m.
Qualification: 1st – 4th in dressage, show jumping & showing and 1st-6th in eventers challenges.

Veteran Horse Society – AREA QUALIFIER 2025
First round qualifier for the Veteran Horse Society Supreme Final:
VETERAN HORSE OF THE YEAR 2025 - Kindly Sponsored by Allen & Page.
Open to members and non-members. All competitors and grooms must adhere to VHS Rules in all circumstances. Failure to do so may result in immediate disqualification. Those wishing to join or renew the Society will need to apply for this before 1st May each year or a late penalty fee of £15 will be charged.
VHS Regional Final qualification. All competitors placed 1st to 4th in each Area Qualifier class will qualify for the corresponding class at VHS Regional Finals. Members must carry their card in the ring at all times and have their showing card signed by the judge as proof of qualification. Non-members will receive a red qualification card which can be exchanged for a signed showing card when applying for VHS membership, this MUST be done within 21 days of qualification. It is the competitors’ responsibility to present their Showing card to the judge.
Regional Finals are open to members only.
All competitors are eligible to enter open classes at the National Veteran Championships, 29th - 31st August 2025. No qualification or membership necessary. See VHS website for schedule which is available mid season in 2025.

British Appaloosa Society Merit
A British Appaloosa Society Merit will be awarded to the highest placed BApS member with a BApS registered horse (including part-breds) in classes 12, 14, 17 and 46.
BApS Membership cards must be shown to the show secretary to claim your merits on completion of your classes. It is the members responsibility to get the slip signed by the secretary and return the Merit slips to BApS to claim their award following the show.
Cantering or galloping on the showground, except in the rings or in the immediate vicinity of the practice ring, is strictly prohibited. Anyone violating this rule is liable to be disqualified from all classes with no refund on entry fees.
Only well-behaved colts or stallions will be permitted on the showground. Any animal deemed to be showing dangerous behaviour will be asked to leave.
No lunging of horses or ponies on the showground or in practice rings.
Proof of age may be required in appropriate classes where age limits apply, prize money may be withheld until this is produced. Age as on the day of the show unless otherwise stated.
For safety reasons hard hats to at least current BS standard must be worn at all times when mounted on the showground and a jacket must be worn when jumping. Body protectors are also recommended.
In the event of classes clashing or running late, entry fees WILL NOT be refunded; competitors must choose which class they want to compete in. Refund of entry fees will only be made on production of a doctors or vets certificate. Entrants arriving late will not be admitted into a class unless at the judge’s discretion.
Any objection to any award must be lodged in writing at the secretary’s caravan, on the showground, within 30 minutes of the end of the judging of the class in question. The objector must pay a deposit of £10 to the secretary when the objection is lodged.
Neither the committee, nor any judge or steward or other official shall be liable for injury to the person, the horse or any other personal property of any competitor, spectator, or other person, however arising. It is an express condition of entry that each competitor shall hold the committee, judges, stewards and other officials harmless in respect of all such injury or damage.
Authorised officials and competitors ONLY are allowed in the ring. The decision of the judges and committee is final.
We recommend that all competitors have their own personal liability insurance.
