Show Information

Entries close 7 days before competition date or as indicated. Late entries may be accepted subject to payment of late entry fee additional £2 per class.
Virtual submissions may be made by close of entries for these shows as well but you may not enter the same class both virtually and in person riding the same horse. There is a separate schedule for virtual tests.
Championship tests must be ridden at the venue in person on show day.
All classes are available for individuals to enter to ride a test.

EEFDG Restrictions-all restrictions from September for the whole series Winners of EEFDG Winter Championship trophies are not eligible to qualify at the level at which the trophy was won – this applies to Seniors in Intro, Preliminary and Novice levels only (this restriction does not currently apply to Juniors). At the EEFDG Committee’s discretion a downgrading may be applied for.
Class 1 & 2 - open to all juniors on ponies and Adult combinations that have not been placed 1st in a Prelim class or above more than 3 times and no BD points. Combination not to have won EEFDG Winter Champs Trophy at Intro (Senior section).
Classes 3 & 4 - Combination not to have been placed 1st in a Novice class more than 3 times and must have no BD points. Combination not to have won EEFDG Winter Champs Trophy at Prelim (Senior section).
Classes 5 & 6 - Combination not to have won EEFDG Winter Champs Trophy at Novice (Senior section). No BD points at Medium or above.
All other tests in accordance with BD restrictions except that combinations that have not competed at or above the level they wish to enter may do so regardless of horse’s points.
Juniors must be under 18 on 1st January in current year. If they are 18 or over on 1st January they are a Senior, if under 18 on 1st January they are a Junior for that whole year.
Juniors must have an accompanying parent or responsible adult nominated by their parent for health, safety and welfare reasons at each show. Please indicate on the entry form the name and contact details of the responsible adult.

Bookings in advance only. You can book using our Secure Online Entry System.
Payment is secure and it goes directly to Essendon & Epping Forest Dressage Group.
You will receive an email confirmation of your booking and payment.
Please note to enter these classes you must be a fully paid up EEFDG member or member of another British Riding Club.

Fees members £15.00, non £18.00 per class. Active Pony Club and other British Riding Club members may enter classes at EEFDG member rates (please select member rate when entering online), membership numbers must be shown on the entry form.

Withdrawals/Refunds
Email & text entries have to be paid regardless of withdrawal and are subject to an admin fee of £2 per horse/rider. Withdrawals before close of entries (7 days before competition) fee refunded less £2 administration fee. 50% refund after closing dated subject to receipt of vet or doctor’s certificate within 7 days.

Terms & Conditions
RGRC (EEFDG) standing rules apply (Copies will be available at the shows and may be obtained from the organiser). Warming up must be undertaken with due care and regard for fellow competitors and BD rules and welfare guidelines will be adhered to at all times. Please tidy and clean around your transport before leaving.

Judges decision is final. We reserve the right to alter, cancel or close classes. Classes may not be run in the order printed in the schedule. RGRC (EEFDG) nor Radley Green Equestrian do not accept any responsibility or liability for any loss, damage accident, injury or illness to horses, ponies, riders, property or any persons/animals in attendance whatsoever.

Animals must not be left unattended tied to lorries or trailers. Please pick up all droppings and litter around you and put in the appropriate bin before you leave.

Horses/ponies must have an up to date Vaccination Certificate to be produced on request at the show.

Riding hats must comply with current British Riding Club safety standards – if in doubt please check. New rules apply from 1st January 2016.

Class sizes are limited and if classes are oversubscribed we will operate on a first come first served basis giving priority to members.

Non British Riding Club members are required to have their own personal liability insurance.

By entering you agree to abide by the Radley Green Equestrian terms and conditions please check to confirm the following are correct or that you agree with the statements: My horse is coming from a disease-free yard and is disease free. There have been no confirmed cases of strangles at my yard in the previous 8 weeks and there is no veterinary advice outstanding that would prevent me from travelling to the Radley Green Facility.

I am familiar with the terms of use of the arena and agree to abide to them (Leave the SJ’s up at 90cms with all poles off the ground, poo picking mandatory, no dogs) I understand the facilities at Radley Green Equestrian are used at my own risk and that Radley Green Equestrian accept no responsibility for damage to person or property that might occur whilst at Radley Green. Any damage must be reported to the office (SJ / Arena damage is chargeable, XC schooling fences are exempt) You will be on CCTV. Please take note of the information signage around the Farm. That if I am engaging the services of an instructor for my session, I am responsible for ensuring they are suitably qualified and insured. I am responsible for poo picking immediately after my horse has created droppings in the arena (equipment provided). No Dogs. No walkers on Farm Ride. No admittance into livery yards without invitation. All children must be under supervision at all times. Riding Hats & protective clothing must be worn up to current British standard. We ask you to respect our facilities and ensure that you leave no litter. Vaccinations must be within 12 months – you will be turned away if not.

ROSETTES TO 6TH PLACE IN EVERY CLASS

At our shows we usually have a photographer taking photo’s. These are available to purchase see RGRC website for link. We sometimes like to use a selection of photo’s for publication to promote the club on our own website or in publications where we have articles about our shows. So if you are a winner you might get your photo published. Should you not wish any pictures published please let the show secretary know. By entering the show, unless you have informed us otherwise, you agree to publication of your name and or a photograph in connection with the results or on our website.
