Horse Trials Training Clinic with Ken Spencer, Annabelle Williams and Tiffany Tasney (Dressage Judge)

A clinic for riders wishing to practice and improve their performance and for riders who would like an introduction to riding at horse trials without the pressure of competition. In all three disciplines riders will receive support and instruction.
* Dressage: ride your test and discuss with a listed dressage judge.
* Show jumping: instructor led course walks and advice on techniques for warm up followed by individual instruction for each rider’s round.
* Cross country: instructor led course walks. The instructor will be on course for each rider.
* Practicing at BE 80, 90 and 100 levels.
* No need to plait and riders may have callers in the dressage phase. Should any rider only want to participate in the dressage and/or show jumping phases please contact the secretaries.

The cost of the clinic is £80 per horse/ rider.

Withdrawals/Refunds

We do NOT offer refunds but will credit the value of booking for hire within a 6 month period

Terms & Conditions

Terms & Conditions for Use of Equestrian Facilities at Sparright Farm
1. Riding Hats must be worn at all times when mounted and must adhere to the current British Showjumping/BE safety standards, there must be no fixed peaks for cross country. Body protectors that adhere to the current BE safety standards must be worn on the cross country course. Failure to wear the correct safety equipment will void any insurance.
2. An adult must accompany riders under 16 years of age, either mounted or on foot.
3. Riders using the cross country must familiarise yourselves with the jumps you intend to use and only jump fences which you consider are suitable for yourself and your horse.
4. Do not jump a flagged obstacle in the wrong direction, do not jump a fence with crossed flags.
5. Please show consideration for other riders using the cross country course, show jumps or dressage arenas.
6. Damage to fences must be reported, you will not be charged,
7. Dogs are welcome and must be kept on leads at all times. Dog poo must be picked up and taken away with you.
8. The landowner of Sparright Farm has taken all reasonable precautions to ensure the safety of the horse and rider. It is your responsibility to take precautions to prevent accidents. The landowner takes no responsibility for any accidents or incidents of whatsoever nature. Riders and any person or persons accompanying them use all facilities at their own risk.
9. All accidents must be reported for entry in the accident book.
