Class 1
Working Equitation Walk & Trot

Dressage similar to BD Intro level. Ease of Handling will not include the Sideways pole, you only have to go around the barrels once each way in trot, all obstacles can be completed at either walk or trot. You should expect to see the course including most other obstacles such as the gate, the bridge, the straight slalom, the straight rein back bell, the vara and bull line.
Class 2
Working Equitation Novice Level

Dressage test similar to BD Prelim/Novice but includes a rein back. Ease Of Handling will include a sideways pole, you will have to go around the barrels twice each way, once in trot and once in canter. Obstacles can be completed in Walk, Trot or Canter, transitions to trot and canter between obstacles should be shown.
Class 3
Working Equitation Inter B

Dressage similar to BD Elementary/Medium level. Ease of Handling may include L-shaped rein back bell, L-shaped Sideways pole, parallel sideways pole, Parrallel slalom. Only go round the barrels once each way but in canter with either a simple change or a flying change in the middle. Parallel slalom can have either simple changes or flying changes. Straight slalom can still be ridden in trot. Should show walk to canter transitions up and down before and after obstacles.
Class 4
Working Equitation Have a Go

PYO Working Equitation (Inter A / Advanced levels)
Will be run as a PYO class where highest % wins in DR and EOH irrespective of level ridden as per BD PYO classes. Speed on time as usual - course will not differentiate between levels other than usual rules regarding one handed vs 2 handed.

Show Information

This is the finale of our HAPEE Summer series.  It is being held at Newbury County show although you dont have to have qualified to enter.

All phases will be run on grass.  Please see specific information notes on this show.

Stabling Information: Yes

 Stabling is available locally (10-15 min drive) for Friday 19th September to help those who are coming from a distance away.

The yard is known to the organisers and recommended.  Your horse will need upto date vaccinations and a valid passport.

They will provide bedding for you.

Please PM Sarah Vousden of A Cob and a Connie for contact details for the stabling.  You will then be able to book directly with the owner of the stables and can agree arrival times at that point.

Please note: there is no hook up or accomodation availalbe at the stables but you are welcome to stay on site in your own transport.

Prize Information

Rosettes and Prizes to 6th place in each class

£75 Chamopin voucher for highest EOH % on the day

Champion and Reserve Champion for the Summer league to be awarded at this event

Winners will recieve rugs, sashes, a full size Bull and Rosettes

Reserve Champions will receive Sash and Rosettes

Withdrawals/Refunds

In the event of bad weather making it unsafe to run, competitors will be offered a choice of refund or transfer of entry to a different date or training clinic. If the event is safe to run, no refunds will be offered without a vet / doctors certificate.

Terms & Conditions

• Riding hats are compulsory, body protectors are optional. Standard competition wear. • Any well fitting English tack can be worn. Any bits can be worn and bit less is allowed. • Horses can wear protective boots for both obstacle rounds. Whips and spurs are permitted Please abide by the general rules listed on the HAPEE website..  Horse welfare is paramount.  No abuse will be tolerated
Stabling may be available - please enquire via the entries sec rather than with the venue direct
