Show Information
The eventer challenge is a single phase event consisting of two components with errors incurred across each. The competition comprises about 10 show jumps, immediately followed by about 10 cross country fences. The show jumping phase will not be timed and the xc will be timed from the time a competitor crosses between the flags at the start of the xc element until passing through the flags at the end of that phase.

Rules

The optimum times for the xc phase will be based on 435m/minute for 80, 450m/minute for 90 and 475m/minute for 100

20 penalties for first refusal

You will receive an email confirmation of your entry and payment.

Entry Fee £45 plus £4 first aid
First Aid £4 per rider.

Withdrawals/Refunds
Withdrawals 5 days prior to the event will be refunded in full less a £5.00 administration charge. Subsequently NO REFUNDS can be made except for cancellation of the event when entry fees will be returned less a £5.00 administration charge.

Terms & Conditions
Body Protectors and Hard Hats to the current BETA/BSI standards must be worn by all riders at all times when mounted. Medical armbands are recommended.
1. Horses and ponies can be ridden only once in each class. No horse to do more than two classes on one day 2. No entries will be accepted by telephone. 3. Scoring for all classes: There is an undisclosed optimum time. The winner is the person who does a clear round and goes closest to the optimum time over the whole course. Pairs class will have a dressing fence, where you will incur penalties if you're not side by side. NO STOPWATCHES ALLOWED 4. Any competitor eliminated may carry on if deemed safe to do so by the jump judge, but MUST give way to following competitors 5. Any competitor in difficulty at a fence, must make way for a following competitor, who is about to overtake. 6. Please provide your own number bib. 7. NO REFUNDS can be made, except for cancellation of the event, when entry fees will be returned less £5.00 per entry for administration costs. 8. The decision of the judges will be final and the committee reserve the right to cancel or amend any of the conditions or competitions as they think fit, and to refuse any entries, or to ask any person to leave the ground. 9. Any objections must be made to the secretary in writing within 30 minutes of the published results, accompanied by a deposit of £20, returnable if the objection is sustained. Videos are not acceptable. 10. The organisers and Sparright Farm do not hold themselves responsible for anything that happens to competitors, spectators, their property or horses in connection with this event or arising out of this event. It shall be a condition that all entrant shall agree to indemnify the organisers and Sparright Farm against any legal action arising out of this event. 11. The organisers and Sparright Farm take reasonable precautions to ensure the health and safely of everyone present. For these measures to be effective everyone must take all reasonable precautions to avoid and prevent accidents occurring and must obey the instructions of the organisers, officials and stewards at all times. 12. All competitors aged 18 or under must be accompanied by an adult.
