Terms and Conditions for Utilizing TAC's Facilities and Competitions
Welcome to TAC! We’re excited to have you here. To ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for everyone, please take a moment to review our terms and conditions:
1. Competitions and Classes:
Our organizers may need to cancel or modify competitions or classes as necessary for reasons beyond our control. We appreciate your understanding.
2. Riding Safety:
For your safety, everyone on TAC's site—whether competing or not—must wear a riding hat and safe footwear at all times when mounted. Hats should meet one of the following standards: AII PAS 015: 1998, BS EN1384: 1997 (must be BSI Kite marked or SEI), or Snell E2001 with a chin strap fastened to ensure it stays in place.
Body protectors are strongly recommended for show jumping.
3. Judging and Instructions:
The judges’ decisions in all competitions are final. We encourage all competitors and visitors to follow the stewards’ instructions for a smooth event.
4. Supervision of Minors:
Children under the age of 12 must always be accompanied by an adult.
5. Waste Disposal:
To keep our grounds tidy, kindly dispose of all rubbish in the bins provided. Please do not empty lorries or trailers in the car park—let’s work together to keep TAC clean.
6. Unattended Horses:
For everyone’s safety, please do not leave any horse or pony unattended unless secured in a lorry or trailer attached to a vehicle.
7. Dogs:
We love having dogs on site! Please ensure they are kept on a lead at all times, and dispose of any waste in the bins provided.
8. No Smoking:
For the comfort of all our visitors, smoking is not allowed inside any TAC buildings.
9. Damage Reporting:
If you notice any damage to facilities, please report it to the office, and we’ll work together to address it.
10. Accident Reporting:
Your safety is our priority. Please report any accidents and complete an accident report at the TAC office.
11. Photography:
We may capture moments through photography or filming during our events. If you prefer not to be photographed, please let us know.
12. Behaviour:
Abusive behaviour towards any of the officials, staff, volunteers, members, competitors, spectators or animals will not be tolerated and the offender will be asked to withdraw with no refund. Any person deemed to be behaving inappropriately will be asked to leave the premises without refund.
13. Health and Safety:
At TAC, we’ve implemented all reasonable safety precautions for your protection. To keep everyone safe, we ask that you also observe all safety measures and follow the guidance of our organizers and officials.
14. Limit of Legal Liability:
Competitors participate at their own risk. Apart from instances of death or personal injury due to negligence by TAC or its representatives, we ask that you acknowledge that we cannot accept claims for any injury, loss, or damage that may happen during your time here.
DISCLAIMER:
All individuals using the facilities do so at their own risk.
