Come and compete in the spectacular setting of Frickley Park
Arena eventing to run in a new area of the park with a range of show jumps and a minimum of 8 cross country fences.

Frickley Park Arena Eventing

·        There will be no more than 20 jumping efforts in total.

·        The course will finish with the last fence as a show jump, the joker fence, which will be approximately 10cm higher than the rest of the course.

·         XC kit must be worn.

·        Stop watches are not permitted

·        The Judges’ decision is final.

·        The winner will be the competitor with the lowest number of penalties. In the event of a tie the winner will be the one closest to the optimum time. The optimum time is calculated based on a speed of 360mpm for 90 and 350mpm for 80 and 340 for the 70 as agreed with the course designer depending upon the size and terrain of the arena.

·        Please print or bring a number which must be worn in a number bib and be clearly visible,

·        The whole round will be timed.

·        *Time allowed is twice the optimum time.

·        Any objections to the results must be lodged within 15 minutes of the result being announced and the organisers decision is final on any appeal.

There will be no prize giving, Rosettes and gift vouchers to be available to collect from the Secretary's desk, prize money will be paid electronically - Bank details to be provided to the Secretary. 

Prize money will be on the basis of 1 placed prize per 5 entries

1) No stopwatches or timing equipment allowed
2) Body protectors up to current standard (2018 onwards) must be worn
3) Any outside interference may result in disqualification.
4) The Officials reserve the right to refuse entry to, or evict, from any class any person(s):
a- that behaves in an irresponsible or offensive manner.
b- Whose horse/pony they consider unfit to compete.
