Our 2024 ERC Training Day at The Unicorn Equestrian Centre is booked for Sunday 16th June 2024.  

In the wonderful 66 x 33m indoor arena we shall have Caroline Princz and Matt Jenkins offering private dressage lessons. The indoor arena will be split in two so they will share the huge space.

Caroline Princz has been our ERC dressage trainer for many years and is well known to our members. She has competed up to Advanced Medium and is currently based with Emilie Faurie with her young horse Ferdi (competing at Medium level).

Matt Jenkins is based at Lyneham Heath Equestrian and has a wealth of experience - both competing and teaching riders from all abilities.  Matt has ridden for some of the country's top Grand Prix riders and trained with Olympic competitors such as Emile Faurie.  

Outside in the 20 x 60m outdoor arena, popular ERC trainer Abby Lloyd will be holding polework or gridwork sessions, in groups with a maximum of 3 riders, each session lasting an hour.  You can also book a private lesson with Abby - lasting an hour.  

Flatwork lessons are 45 minutes, polework/gridwork sessions are an hour. . Book one, or come along for two! The earlier you book on, the easier it is to timetable to get exactly what you wish. If you want a flatwork session plus a gridwork, for example, we'll give you a breather in between but aim not to keep the wait too long.

Please also make a note in your entries if you are travelling with others and need close times or to share a lesson.

Private flatwork lessons with Caroline Princz or Matt Jenkins (dressage indoors) are £40 for 45 minutes for members, £45 for non-members 

Group polework/gridwork sessions with Abby Lloyd (groups of maximum 3, for an hour) are £25 for members and £30 for non-members. A private jumping lesson with Abby (one hour) would be £50 for members, £55 for non-members.  

You are welcome to book more than one lesson if you would like!

Please advise if you have any time constraints or are travelling with anyone else. Lesson times will be sent out in the week leading up to the day. Please note that once times are sent out, we are only able to offer a refund (less fees) if we are able to fill your place.

Stables are available at £15 for the day, shavings are £10 a bale (shavings can be shared) should anyone like to have use of one. Please contact Lynne Kitson to arrange stabling (lynneki@hotmail.com, 07930 107052).

 Please note that only members of Evenlode Riding Club are covered by insurance for this event - if you are a non-member, you are still very welcome but we would recommend that you have your own insurance.
