Main Arena / Ring 1 – Ridden – Will not start before 9am
Class 1 - Ridden Best Turned Out - Any age and any horse. (9am)
Qualifier for Sunshine Tour Championship – Top 4 places to qualify.
Class 2 - Ridden Lead Rein and first ridden (9.15am)
Ridden Lead Rein not exceeding 148, 4 years to 7 years and 8 years to 11 years (as on the 1st Jan 2024) 20% overall appearance, 60% efficiency, 20% ring craft - will be split if adequate entries.
First Ridden - A First-Ridden Show Pony or Show Hunter Pony is one which is suitable as the first pony for a child once he or she is able to ride without a lead rein.

EQUIFEST OPEN SHOW PONY LEAD REIN QUALIFIER as below
Leading Rein Pony, mare or gelding, 4 years old & over not exceeding 128cms. Riders not to have attained their 8th birthday before 1st January in the current year. To be led by an attendant and shown in a snaffle bridle. Lead rein to be attached to the noseband only.
Class 3 – Ridden Open Hunter (9.30am)
Open ridden hunter, mare or gelding, 4 years and over, exceeding 158cms, riders of any age.
This is an equifest qualifier and sunshine tour qualifier.
Class 4 - Open Equitation (9.45am)
Any Age rider, 40% rider position and effectiveness, 40% individual show, 20% overall presentation.
Class 5 – Open Ridden Hacks (10am)
Any suitable bridle 40 % manners, 30% individual show and 30% suitability
EQUIFEST OPEN RIDDEN HACKS
Open Show Hacks, mare or gelding, 4 years old and over, exceeding 148cms but not exceeding 160cms. Riders any age.
Classes may be divided as follows:
· Small Hacks – mare or gelding, 4 years old and over, exceeding 148cms but not exceeding 154cms. Riders any age.
· Large Hacks – mare or gelding, 4 years old and over, exceeding 154cms but not exceeding 160cms. Riders any age.

Class 6 – Open Ridden Cob (10.15am)
The cob is a type rather than a breed, they should be short legged with good bone and capable of carrying an adult of substantial weight – open to any age
Open to ridden cobs including show and traditional. Stallion, mare or Gelding, 4 years and over. Riders any age
EQUIFEST OPEN RIDDEN COBS QUALIFIER AS BELOW: -
Open Ridden Cob, mare or gelding, 4 years old & over, exceeding 148cms but not exceeding 155cms. To be shown hogged and trimmed. Riders any age.
Classes may be divided as follows:
· Open Lightweight Ridden Cob, mare or gelding, exceeding 148cms but not exceeding 155cms. To be shown hogged and trimmed. Riders any age.
· Open Heavyweight Ridden Cob, mare or gelding, exceeding 148cms but not exceeding 155cms. To be shown hogged and trimmed. Riders any age.

Class 7 – Ridden Fancy Dress (10.30am)
Any aged rider, any horse – Colourful
Class 8 - Ridden Veteran (10.45am)
Horse or pony aged 15 or over, 50% Performance and Manners and 50% Age, Suppleness and Turnout.
EQUIFEST OPEN RIDDEN VETERAN HORSE / PONY as below
Stallion, mare or gelding, 15 years old and over. Any type or breed. Rider any age.
Qualifier for Sunshine Tour Championship – Top 4 places to qualify.
Class 9 - Ridden M&M, Shetland, Dartmoor, Exmoor, Welsh, Dales, Fell, Highland, New Forest, Connemara, any native breed (11am)
40% correct of type, 30% manners and individual show and 30% overall impression.
EQUIFEST OPEN RIDDEN MOUNTAIN & MOORLAND as below
Open to Mountain & Moorland ponies registered with their respective Pure Bred Societies of Connemara, Dales, Dartmoor, Exmoor, Fell, Highland, New Forest, Shetland, Welsh A, B, C and D. Stallion, mare or gelding, 4 years old and over. Rider any age.
Classes may be divided according to entries.
Qualifier for Sunshine Tour Championship – Top 4 places to qualify.
Class 10 - Ridden Coloured (11.15am)
Coloured, cremello, palomino, Dunn, roan and spotted, open to any age and height, 40% confirmation, 30% way of going, 30 manners, class may be split if enough entries
EQUIFEST RIDDEN PIEBALD / SKEWBALD as below
Open ridden Piebald / Skewbald stallion, mare or gelding, 4 years old & over. Riders any age. The first three places will also qualify for the BSPA Championship subject to their show rules & conditions.

Class 11 - Ridden Maxi Cobs – Traditional and Native (11.30)
Any age/height – should be shown in a traditional state.
Class will be split depending on entries to ridden and maxi cobs

Open Maxi Cobs, mare or gelding 4 years old and over, exceeding 155cms – to be judged as a Cob. To be shown hogged and trimmed. Riders any age.
Class 12 - Retraining of Racehorse (11.40am)
Aged 4 years or over, open to mares and geldings of any height, any bridle, 40% conformation, 30% individual show, 30% overall impression
EQUIFEST OPEN RE-TRAINED RACE HORSE as below
Thoroughbred mare or gelding, 4 years old & over, any height. Horses must have been raced in the GB to be eligible to compete.
Class 13 - Side Saddle (11.55am)
Any horse or pony, 40% conformation, 30% individual show, 30% overall impression
Class 14 - Concours d'Elegance (12.10pm)
Open to any horse or pony, this class is for the elegance of the picture presented by the horse and rider, personal appearance, fancy dress or period costumes can be worn

(3yrs and under) 40% conformation, 30 manners/way of going, 30% overall impression
Class 17 - Open in Hand (1.30pm)
Horse or Pony of any age and any breed, 40% conformation, 30% way of going, 30% manners
Class 18 - In Hand Veteran (1.45pm)
Open to any horse or pony aged 15 or over, 50% Performance and Manners, 50% age suppleness and Turnout.
