Prelim 12. This test is judged as a test of competence of the rider and their influence on the horse or pony. The rider should sit in a correct position and should be able to understand and apply the aids correctly for each pace and movement. It shall not be judged as a dressage test.

Senior Riding Test

British Riding Clubs Area 7 Summer Dressage Qualifier, at Milton Park, Peterborough. PE6 7AA
Sections for Juniors, Seniors, Individuals, Pairs and teams.   There is also a team and individual riding test class.
All members are most welcome to enter.  We'd love to see you there, and have a go.
Open to British Riding Club Area 7 members only.  Enter through your own club.

All tests (other than the Pairs test) can be ridden as individuals.  Some are also grouped together to make teams.

Intro C -  Individual only.  Senior and Junior classes

Prelim -
choice of Prelim 7, 13 or 18  for Juniors, and Prelim 12 Riding Test.
choice of Prelim 7, 13, 14 or 18 for Seniors, and Prelim 12 Riding Test.

Novice -
choice of 24 for Juniors
choice of 23, 24, 30 for Seniors, and Novice 27 Riding Test.

Elementary 43 - Individual only. Senior and Junior classes

Pick a Test - Individual only. Medium 61 or Adv Medium 92.

Pairs - BRC Pairs 5 (2014) -  mixed seniors & juniors

Teams are made as follows.  All team entries also compete as individuals. 
Junior Dressage Team, 3-4 members each riding a different test out of Prelim 7, Prelim 13, Prelim 18, Novice 24.
Junior Riding Test Team, 3-4 members each riding Prelim 12.
Senior Prelim Team, 3-4 members each riding a different test out of Prelim 7, Prelim 13, Prelim 14, Prelim 18.
Senior Open Team, 3-4 members each riding a different test out of Novice 23, Novice 24, Novice 30, Elementary 43.
Senior Riding Test Team, 3-4 members, with upto 2 riding Prelim 12 and upto 2 riding Novice 27.

If you're happy for us to shuffle you around to make up teams, just enter the level you want to do, and we'll sort out the exact test with you later.  If you only want to do a specific test, please state this on your entry.  

Entries close 14th April 5pm as this is a BRC qualifier.  We are charged £5 late fee for every entry after this date, so please get your entries in early.

Hats must have a Hot Pink BRC/BE/PC hat tag.  There will be a trained official available on the day to check & tag your hat if it meets the required standard.  Check the BRC 2024 Rulebook for required standards - there is a link to the Rule Book from the MKRC website, Competitions page.
Your number must be worn on each side if a bridle or saddlepad number, or front & back if a number bib. Alternatively you may wear a back number.
Flu vaccinations must be up-to-date, and must not be vaccinated within the 6 days before the competition.  Vaccination history must be produced for checking.
Tests may be read at qualifiers but not at championships.

The championship is at the Lincolnshire Showground, 31st August - 1st September 2024, depending upon which test you qualify for.

Payment is secure and it goes directly to MKRC.
You will receive an email confirmation of your booking and payment.
 

Withdrawals/Refunds

Please talk to a committee member as soon as possible if you need to withdraw.

As this is a British Riding Clubs event, no refunds are possible once entries have been sent to BRC.
