ü Hints and tips from 16 years of competing in TREC
This training is particularly aimed at newcomers and people competing at Level 1 TREC competitions. While it’s focus is on TREC competitions it would also be useful for people who would like to learn map reading skills.
Cost £29 per person (members)/£34 (non-members)
(includes tea/coffee/biscuits/cake, a map marking pen, speed card and handouts)
Please bring a good quality navigational compass with base plate (eg: Silva Classic/Ranger) with you if you have/can borrow one. Cheap ones are unreliable! Also bring a packed lunch, suitable footwear & coats for walking & slippers for indoors, if you like.
Liz has been competing successfully in TREC for 15 years and is a TREC GB judge & Technical Delegate. She won the National Championship Level 2A in 2018 and the Welsh Championships in 2019 & 2021 on Rose.
Liz has a calm & relaxed style of coaching and enjoys introducing new people to TREC.
