Open to Adult, Associate, Junior, Club or Just For Schools Members & Non-Registered competitors on horses and ponies. Senior riders should be turning 17 years old or older in the current year. Stallions are not permitted to jump in any Club classes.Qualifying period: 1st July to 30th JuneNumbers to qualify: The Top 20 from each of the four height category league tables, will qualify for the National Club Championships held at the British Showjumping National Championships. Club registered horse(or pony)/rider combinations only are eligible to qualify and in more than one height category. Points1st = 12, 2nd = 10, 3rd = 8, 4th = 6, 5th = 4, 6th = 3. Double Clear Points = 3.Points are allocated depending on the number of starters; every one in five starters are eligible for placing points. If you gain a double clear you will receive three points regardless of starters. If a combination competes in more than two consecutive height classes per show day only the points from the bigger classes will be graded.
British Showjumping Boots / Leg Protection Ruling applies to this class, in accordance with Rule 102.15. Failure to comply will incur disqualification.

Riders who have ever competed as a team member of any Senior International Team (4* or 5* Nations Cup in the last 10 years, World, European Championships & Olympic Games) are not eligible. Pony Riders, Children, Juniors and Young Riders who have ever competed in Nations Cup/International Team Events and European Championships in the last five years are not eligible (excluding Veterans and Para Teams).Qualifies for: 85cms National Amateur Second Rounds. Qualifying period: 1st September-31st August inclusive.Numbers to qualify: Those horse/rider combinations which jump clear in the first round, followed by a clear round in the jump-off, in at least five 85cm National Amateur First Round competitions held in the qualifying period will qualify to compete in the respective height classes at the National Amateur Championships. Horses will only be eligible for double clear qualification to Second Rounds if they reach the age of four years or under in the same calendar year as the Senior British Novice Final - in accordance with Rule 316.6Rule 102.16 British Showjumping hind boot rule for boots/leg protection applies in this class.Qualifies for: Senior British Novice Championship - Second Round. Qualifying period yearly 1st May - 30th April inclusive.Numbers to qualify: Those horses which jump a clear round in the first round, followed by a clear round in the jump-off, in at least four Senior British Novice First Round competitions held in the qualifying period will qualify to compete in the Senior British Novice Second Rounds, irrespective of their placings for prize money in those competitions, which will be determined by the normal Table A rules (Rule 191). Entries in advance or on the day. You can enter using our Secure Online Entry System. Payment is secure and it goes directly to Brampton Equestrian You will receive an email confirmation of your class entry and payment.
Affiliated shows are required to repay 50 % of the entry fees in respect of all entry cancellations which are received by the Show Organiser not later than 48 hours before noon of the day on which the first affiliated competition of the show is scheduled to start except in those circumstances outlined in Rule 79.5.
1. The judge’s decision is final. 2. Save for death or personal injury caused by the negligence of the organiser or anyone for whom they are in law responsible, neither the organiser of any event to which these rules apply,nor any agent, employee or representative of these bodies accepts any liability for any accident, loss, damage, injury or illness to horse, owners, riders, spectators, land, cars, their contents and accessories or any other person or property whatsoever, whether caused by their negligence, breach of contract or in any other way whatsoever. 3. The organiser has the right to cancel any class or event; to divide any class, to alter the course if necessary and to refuse any entry. 4. The organiser of this event has taken reasonable precautions to ensure the health and safety or everyone present. For these measures to be effective, everyone must take all reasonable precautions to avoid and prevent accidents occurring and must obey the instructions of the organiser and all officials and stewards. 5. Any objections must be made to the secretary, in writing, and accompanied by a deposit of £10 which is returnable if the objection is sustained. 6. All dogs must be kept on leads at all times. 7. In the event of cancellation, refunds will be made after deduction of expenses. 8. Jackets, sweater or cross-country colours may be worn. 9. Crash hats with chin straps secured, or hard hats, to be worn at all times when mounted. It is recommended that effective body protection be worn.
