Show Information
Ride a test in your own arena, have a friend video it, pop it onto YouTube, and our listed judges will score it in our virtual show. Places and scores count towards entry in our championship and league. Practice for our first show of the year on 21st April at Lower Haddon. As an alternative we include short arena alternatives if a long arena is unavailable. Dress code is smart, and plaiting is optional.

Payment Details & Event Fees
Enter through My Riding Life or the IDG website. Email your video to showsec@idgmail.co.uk.

Send the link by email to showsec@idgmail.co.uk with the following in the title of your email & video “Your name; horse name; Class number and Test” by 11th March 2024If entering multiple classes please send a separate email for each class. This allows the entries to be grouped by class before forwarding to the judge. DO NOT ATTEMPT TO EMAIL THE VIDEO! Restricted and Open Sections/Numbers and Data Protection Each competitor is required to specify whether they are Restricted or Open in each class. Failure to do this means they will automatically be entered in the Open section.

Are you restricted or open?
The IDG shows are intended to help riders of all abilities and experience. Within our classes we have Restricted and Open sections.
The purpose of the Restricted sections is to give inexperienced riders a level of competition that allows them to feel comfortable competing with others of the same level.
We ask that riders should self regulate and not compete at Restricted if they have;
a) Ridden or competed 2 levels above that of the class entered, in any competition, RC, PC or BD. Also the corresponding levels at BE. b) Won any of the IDG League Championships at the level entered. c) Won BD points at the level or above. For BE the rider should have no points. Horse experience is not relevant. Open classes are for more experienced riders to compete young/inexperienced horses, as well as more established combinations.
