Special Classes

IMPORTANT INFORMATION FOR PONY CLUB QUALIFYING CLASSES

A combination of horse/pony and rider can qualify for the Spring Festival Championships at consecutive levels, i.e., PC80 and PC90, PC90 and PC100 or PC100 and PC110, in the same year.
Riders CANNOT compete at the PC80 Spring Festival Area Competition and the PC110 Grand Prix Area Competition in the same year.
Riders can compete at the PC80 and PC100 or PC90 and PC110 Area Competitions and Championships on a different horse.
 
Trailblazers Qualifier. This is a direct qualifier with heights from 60cm to 1m for Seniors and Juniors and for Seniors on ponies, heights from 60cm – 80cm. The top 8 in the class qualify, regardless of the number of starts or clear rounds. Qualification cards £12.00 each, available from office. 

Withdrawals/Refunds

 

  • All competitions are pre-entry only, no refund or transfer is possible after initial close of entries date as published on the schedule.
  • All withdrawals to be made via e-mail please.
  • The booking fee is non-refundable in all cases.
  • For withdrawals before the published closing date refunds of the Entry Cost can be made less £3.00 Admin Fee alternatively, we can offer a free transfer to another event.
  • No refunds or transfers can be made during the late entry period unless we are able to replace it from a wait list.
  • Please see relevant rule books for additional policies in place for British Dressage, British Show Jumping and British Eventing.
  • Abandonment Policy In the case of abandonment of a competition for any reason we will offer a free transfer towards an alternative competition – or a refund minus a £3.00 admin fee. The booking fee is non-refundable in all cases.

Terms & Conditions

 

  • All entries and payments to be made online.
  •  ALL horses must not be under current investigation for infectious diseases including, for example, Equine Herpes Virus (EHV), Equine Influenza, Strangles.
  • All Horses must not have been in contact with and is not kept on the same premises as a horse known to have or be under investigation for the neurological form of EHV, Equine Influenza, Strangles or Equine Viral Arteritis. 
  • All activity will be in accordance with the advice from the relevant national body, and ANY social distancing guidelines must always be adhered to.
  • HORSES/PONIES MUST NOT BE LEFT TIED UP OUTSIDE UNATTENDED.
  • Please do not park in front of or block access to the loading bay.
  • PLEASE PRINT/MAKE YOUR OWN ALLOCATED RIDER NUMBER OR USE YOUR NUMBER DISKS. NUMBERS WILL BE ALLOCATED WITH TIMES. THIS MUST BE WORN AT ALL TIMES AND MUST BE EASILY READABLE. NO spectators or filming are allowed in any of the warm-up or competition arenas. Please use viewing areas.
  •  Warm up time may be limited by numbers allowed in arena to an estimated 30 – 40 minutes.
  • You are expected to ride on your allocated times. If you do not do so, you risk being unable to compete.
  • DRESSAGE SHEETS - Please email us for a copy or leave an A5 Large Letter Stamped Addressed HARD BACKED Envelope for rosettes or an ordinary SAE for dressage sheets only.
  • PLEASE CLEAR UP ANY DROPPINGS OR HAY IN THE LORRY PARK.
  • Dogs are allowed but MUST be kept on a short lead at all times. No Exceptions.
  • There is NO SMOKING allowed anywhere on or around the stable yards.
  • YOU MUST WEAR EITHER A NUMBER BIB OR BRIDLE/ SADDLE NUMBERS (YOU MUST WEAR TWO, ONE ON BOTH SIDES).
  • NO NUMBER YOUR ROUND WILL NOT COUNT COMPETITIVELY.
