RULES AND CONDITIONS OF ENTRY - Health & Safety - Organisers of this event have taken reasonable precautions to ensure the health and safety of everyone present. For these measures to be effective, everyone must take all reasonable precautions to avoid and prevent accidents occurring and must obey the instructions of the organisers and all the officials and stewards.
- INSURANCE: Please be aware that all non-Pony Club competitors/spectators are not covered by The Pony Club insurance and must have their own third-party cover. The Garth Hunt Branch of The Pony Club and the organisers of this event are not legally responsible for non-Members and their insurance will not cover you.
- Judging - The Judge’s decision is final. Any objection must be made to the secretary with a deposit of £20 not later than 20 minutes after the incident.
- The Organisers reserve the right to alter any part of the Schedule or to refuse entries without stating reasons.
- Entry fees will only be refunded on production of a vet or doctor’s certificate presented in advance. No refunds will be made within 10 days of the event. In the event of cancellation, entry fees will be returned, less an administration fee of £6.50 per competitor, to offset costs.
- Passports: A valid passport and vaccination record must accompany the horse / pony to all events, must be available for inspection by the event officials, must be produced on request at any other time during the event
- This show will be run under the Pony Club Show jumping rules 2023 - all available on the Pony Club website www.pcuk.org A copy of which will be held with the Secretary on the day of the competition.
- Attire - All competitors hats must be tagged with the pink 2023 tag. PC saddlery and dress rules will be enforced. No magnetic stirrups, no earrings, whips must comply with current rules.
- Legal Liability - Save for the death or personal injury caused by the negligence of the organisers, or anyone for whom they are in law responsible, neither the organisers of this event or The Pony Club nor any agent, employee or representative of these bodies, nor the landlord or his tenant, accepts any liability for any accident, loss, damage, injury or illness to horses, owners, riders, spectators, land, cars, their contents and accessories, or any other person or property whatsoever. Entries are only accepted on this basis.
