Steady Eddies. For the young and old who prefer a more 'Rolls Royce' slower paced run, novice riders and horses, lead rein allowed. Those unsure of how quick their horse or pony goes can enter the Steady-Eddies, however, if they are deemed too quick for the class they will be asked to compete in the open classes going forward. Judged as one section.
If you wouldn't normally 'go for it' in a showjumping jump off, this is a good class to start with.

Must be ridden in trot. Knocking a barrel or breaking gait deducts 5 seconds from your time.
Basically, Barrel Racing rules reversed!

The organisers reserve the right to cancel, alter, amend, split or amalgamate any class, clinic, hire, event, or substitute any judge at any time. Withdrawals prior to the entry closing dates: A refund will be given, minus any administration fees.
Withdrawals after entry closing dates: the entry may be carried to a future event held within the next 3 months of the same fee.
Withdrawals after 5pm the day before an event are not eligible for any refund or credit or to be carried over.
Late Entries are not eligible for refunds or credits In the event of event cancellation due to unforeseen circumstances, Yorkshire Equestrian Centre will endeavour to reschedule the event, transfer any entries to a future date or refund any entries less any administration fees. Withdrawals must be made by email to events@yorkshireec.co.uk in person, or by phone 07748115588 (social media platforms such as Facebook are not maned as such are an unsuitable means of withdrawal).
