This hacking confidence camp is ideal for anyone who whats to develop their confidence out hacking, learn how to handle their nerves and develop a greater sense of enjoyement that enables you to get out and about and enjoy the countryside this summer.
This camp is designed specifically to give attendees a fantastic confidence boosting experience that can be taken at your own speed, which includes not only in saddle training and skill development, but also mental and physical preparation for everyday riding.
Included in your stay:
2 x individual mounted sessions which will include riding in an arena for those that prefer as well as simulated hacking in large open but secure fields.Focussed discussions and talks will include horse behaviour and pyschology, top tips for building confidence and handling nerves,
You will also received a rider balance session and an in-hand or mounted obstables session with your horse to develop your trust in each other and helping your horse turn fear into curiosity to help you out hacking.
Daily mindset dismounted sessions including how to set realistic goals, building effective training plans to acheive your goals, staying within your 'bubble of control', and confidnce building techniques.
Pilates or Yoga session (tbc) to get us all thinking about how we use our body to perform and control our breathing.
Between your sessions you are at liberty to take a walk, rest and relax, support other riders and observe or read a book in the sunshine (hopefully!)
2 nights stabling.
Evening meal will be provided on the Friday evening along with basic breakfast options each morning, light refreshments and snacks.
Kitchen facilities are available which include a microwave, toaster and kettle.
Shower and toilet facilities are also available.
Attendees will need to provide their own sleeping quaters - tent or lorry etc. or stay locally if you wish. You will need to provide your own hay, bedding, feed for your horse. You will need to bring your own drinks including any alcoholic beverages, snacks and lunch options.
Dogs are welcome providing they are well behaved. They are permitted to be walked off lead around the hacking areas provided their recall is good and do not pose a risk to any livestock or horses or riders. Dogs will not be permitted on to any of the main yard areas or down to the shower or kitchen areas.
