Show Information

The new ride route has not been finalised but should include a short option of approximately 7 miles and a longer route of approximately 12miles, over undulating Sussex downland, both with far reaching views to the sea and weald.

New jumps (optional) will be provided on the gallops - with our talented photographer close to hand!


Hard hats must be worn at all times whilst mounted.
There is currently no plan for allocated start times, but the organisers reserve the right to introduce start times should the need arise eg. reintroduction of any pandemic restrictions. It would, therefore, be helpful to note on your entry any preferred approximate start time.

Withdrawals/Refunds

Withdrawals made three weeks before the event will have the entry fee refunded.

Withdrawals made less than three weeks before the event will have the entry fee refunded only on the production of a veterinary or doctors’ certificate.

Terms & Conditions

1. In the event of any reintroduction of any Government Guidance relating to eg. a pandemic, such guidance will be followed. By attending the ride all attendees acknowledge and agree that although the organisers have taken every precaution and followed Government Guidance, it is impossible to eliminate all risks. All those attending must play their part in minimising the risk to themselves and others by complying with the Government Guidelines, as well as any on site instructions and signage. The organisers have the right to refuse entry or request departure from the site should there be any breach of such guidance/regulation.
2. The organisers have taken reasonable precautions to ensure the health and safety of all attending the ride, who must also take reasonable precautions to avoid and prevent accidents and follow the instructions of the organisers.
3. No claims will be accepted for anything that may happen to riders, horses, onlookers or their property in connection with or arising from this ride. It is a condition of entry that each entrant indemnifies the organisers against legal action arising from any such incidents.
4. All entries must be prepaid, preferably on line through MyRidingLife prior to the day. Any entry on the day, should space be available, must be paid prior to commencing the ride preferably by card.
5. Disposable numbers will be provided that may be inserted into 'eventing number bibs' or tied/pinned on but must be displayed whilst on the ride and be visible to the stewards along the route.
6. In the event that social distancing is required and start times are introduced please make every effort to support social distancing. Please make every effort to be ready to start within your allocated time band. We may not be able to start you easily out of order.

9. In the unfortunate event of cancellation £5 will be retained against costs incurred.
10. Dogs - Absolutely no dogs allowed due to young stock.
