Qualifes for: Pony Britsh Novice Championship Second Rounds. Qualifying period 1st May-30th April inclusive.
Numbers to qualify: Those ponies that jump a clear round in the frst round, followed by a clear round in the jump-off,
in at least four Pony Britsh Novice First Round compettons held in the qualifying period will qualify to compete in a
Pony Britsh Novice Second Rounds, irrespectve of their placings for prize money in those compettons, which will be determined by the normal Table A Rules (Rule 191). Ponies in the class must go in to the jump-off and go clear to gain
their double clear round qualifcaton. The winner of a partcular Pony Britsh Novice First Round competton will not
automatcally qualify solely as a result of that competton.
• 80cm Open:
For registered ponies in Grade JA, JC, JD to be ridden by Junior Members
If combined with an open:
In the event of 15 or more starters this class will be split with two sets of prize money. Ponies may enter one secton
only.
Britsh Showjumping Boots / Leg Protecton Ruling applies to this class, in accordance with Rule 102.15. Failure to

four Blue Chip Pony Newcomers First Round competitions held in any qualifying period will qualify to compete in a
Pony Newcomers Second Round. • The Open Section is for registered ponies in Grade JA, JC, JD to be ridden by Junior Members. Junior Members, in
either the Open or the Newcomers Section who have not won a total of 500 Points are eligible for double clear
qualifcaton for the Pony Restricted Rider 1.00m Championship. Riders who have accrued points on the Pony Gold
League are not eligible to compete in the Restricted Rider 1.00m Final.
Qualifies for: Four double clears will qualify for the Pony Restricted Rider 1.00m Championship to be held at the
Britsh Showjumping National Championships. Qualifying period: 1st May-30th April. Qualification is only/rider
Combinaton.

year are eligible for double clear qualifcaton for the Pony Restricted Rider 1.10m Championship. Riders who have
accrued points on the Pony Gold League are not eligible to compete in the Restricted Rider 1.10m Final.
Qualifying period: 1st May-30th April inclusive. Qualifes for: Four double clears will qualify for the Pony Restricted
Rider 1.10m Championship to be held at the Britsh Showjumping Natonal Championships. Qualifcaton is pony/rider
combinaton.

a) For horses in Grade C that have not won a total of 125 points. Four Double Clears will qualify - in accordance with

b) For all horses born on or after 1 January 2017 irrespective of points. Horses will only be eligible for double clear
qualification to Second Rounds if they reach the age of four years or under in the same calendar year as the British
Novice Final - in accordance with Rule 316.6.
Qualifies for: Senior British Novice Championship - Second Round.
Qualifying period: 1st May - 30th April inclusive.
Numbers to qualify: Those horses which jump a clear round in the first round, followed by a clear round in the jump-off,
in at least four British Novice First Round competitions held in any qualifying period will qualify to compete in the
British Novice Second Rounds, irrespective of their placings for prize money in those competitions, which will be
determined by the normal Table A rules (Rule 191). Horses in the class must go in to the jump-off and go clear to gain a
double clear round qualification.
If combined with an open:

who have ever competed in Nations Cup/International Team Events and European Championships in the last five years
are not eligible (excluding Veterans and Para Teams).
Qualifies for: 95cms National Amateur Second Rounds
Qualifying period: 1st September - 31st August inclusive.
Numbers to qualify: Those horse/rider combinations which jump clear in the first round, followed by a clear round in
the jump-off, in at least five 95cm National Amateur First Round competitions held in the qualifying period will qualify
to compete in the respective height classes at the National Amateur Championships. Horses which jump clear in the
first round followed by a clear round in the jump off, in at least one 95cm National Amateur First Round Competition
held in the qualifying period, will qualify to compete in the National Amateur 95cm Second Round competition.

Four double clears will qualify for the Senior Newcomers Second Rounds. Qualifying period: The Senior Newcomers Second Round qualifying period for the 2023 second rounds is 1 May '22 – 30 April '23 (subject to revision).
If combined with an open: In the event of 30 or more starters the class will be split with two sets of prize money.
• 1.10m Open:
For registered horses ridden by Adult, Associate or Junior Members.
• All horse/rider combinations eligible for the 1.10m National Amateur First Round will receive dual qualification of double clears, in either section of a Newcomer - first round/1.10m open competition. Held at Senior Category 1 shows only.

All entries in advance. Entries must only be made via My Riding Life. Payment is secure and it goes directly to Golden Cross Equestrian Centre. You will receive an email confirmation of your booking and payment. £5 first aid fee per rider
WITHDRAWAL POLICY – SHOWS Withdrawals for online bookings for shows will only be made if made by email to admin@goldencrossec.com up until 7 days before the booked date. These will then be refunded as a credit on the account and will not include the booking fee which is paid to our online entry agents. Credits on the account can be used at future events at Golden Cross run by the team, please contact us when you would like to use it. Withdrawals made after the 7 days before the booked date will not be credited unless the withdrawal is made before times/ draws are published and a vet or hospital certificate is provided.
