Show Information

·        Entry fees Chalfont Heights RC Members £12 Non members £16

·        Horses on the showground must be fully vaccinated up to date, passport must be brought with your horse and spot checks on the day will be carried out 

·        Priority will be given to CHRC members and the classes will be limited

·        Entries close Tuesday before the competition

·        Under BD rules there will be 6/7 min per test

·        Riders can compete on more than one horse in same class.

·        A maximum of two tests per horse

·        The same combination may ride more than one test, but not in the same class. You can only enter 2 consecutive classes, i.e. 1&2, 2&3, 3&4 etc

·        Times will be emailed to you on the Thursday before the show

       ·        Refreshments will be available    

 

MEMBERS 

There are now 4 Dressage Challenge Shields to be won, Intro, Prelim, Novice & Elementary. Members will get points when they are placed in each class, 6 points for 1st, 5 points for 2nd etc down to 1 point for 6th. The points will be updated and put on our web site after each show and published in the newsletter. The shields will be presented at the Club AGM later in the year with amazing rosettes from 1st to 6th place in the challenge

Chalfont Heights Riding Club RULES AND CONDITIONS 

 

1.       The competition is run under British Dressage rules

2.       There are toilet facilities on site  

3.       Numbers in the warm up arena will be limited

4.       Score board will be displayed by the secretary’s shed

5.       Children must be accompanied by an adult at all times  

6.      Please use your own bridle / saddle cloth numbers. Must have two numbers, one on each side

7.       No Stallions are permitted on the show ground

8.       ROSETTES to 6th place in each section.

9.      ENTRIES will close prior to the closing date if full. PRIORITY entry will be provided to club members where possible.

10.   HORSES & PONIES must be 4 years and above to enter, and only those entered to be brought onto the showground.

11.    HEALTH & SAFETY The Organisers of this event have taken reasonable precautions to ensure the Health & Safety of everyone present.  For these measures to be effective everyone must take all reasonable precautions to avoid and prevent accidents occurring and obey the instructions of the Organiser and all Officials and Stewards.

12.   LIABILITY The Owners/Organisers will not accept any responsibility for any accident injury illness or loss of property howsoever caused.

13.    HARD HATS to BSI standard PAS 015 (2011) , VG1 01.040(2014 – 12) or ASTM F1163 (2004a or 04a onwards) must be worn at all times whilst mounted with harness in place. Snell E2001 and PAS 015 (1998) are no longer accepted

14.   CORRECT FOOTWEAR must be worn when mounted.

15.   DOGS must be kept on leads at all times.

16.   REFUNDS for entry fees only refunded on production of a valid vet or doctor’s certificate.

17.    OBJECTIONS must be made in writing within 15 minutes of the end of the class with a £10.00 deposit, which will be forfeit if the objection is over-ruled.

18.   RESERVATION The organisers reserve the right to cancel any class if deemed necessary and to refuse an entry without having to state the reason.

19.   LITTER must be taken home, and horse-boxes must not be mucked out on the premises.

20.   FOUL Language and abusive behaviour will not be tolerated.

21.   The Judge’s decision is FINAL.

22.   Times will be emailed and put on the web site Thursday before each competition

 

23.   ONLY HORSES AND PONIES WITH UP-TO-DATE FLU AND TET JABS ON THEIR PASSPORTS WILL BE ALLOWED TO COMPETE
