Classes: 1-4

Juniors:
For teams of four with the best three scores to count and individuals. Two team members to compete in the Prelim 2 (2016) or Prelim 12 (2005)/75cm show jumping section, one in the Prelim 13 (2006) or Novice 28 (2008)/85cm show jumping section. 

Seniors: 5-10
For teams of four with best three scores to count and individuals. Two team members compete in the Prelim 2 (2016) or Prelim 12 (2005) /75cm show jumping section and two in the Novice 27 (2007) or Novice 28 (2008)/85cm show jumping section. There are also two extra INDIVIDUAL ONLY sections comprising of Novice 34 (2009)/75cm show jumping and Prelim 7 (2002)/85cm show jumping.


This competition will run under British Riding Club Rules. Hats
All hats must have a visible Pink BRC/BE/PC hat tag in place before they are used for warming up and competing, to show that it meets the current safety standards. There will be a trained official available on the day to do this for you if your hat does not currently have one. For up to date hat rules please see the current handbook.

Your horse must have up to date influenza vaccinations in line with rule G7 in the current BRC Handbook. There is also a checking device on the BRC website, but if you are unsure, please email a scanned copy of your horses Flu Vac cert to penpony@hotmail.com or area9vaccinations@outlook.com.

Numbers to qualify as per Appendix 10 dependant on Appendix 9 in the current BRC Handbook.

Payment Details & Event Fees

Online entries only.
Payment is secure and it goes directly to West Wilts EC.
You will receive an email confirmation of your class entry and payment.
No late entries/changes after times are published.
All entrants must pay a prelim entry of £46 per team or £13.00 per individual to British Riding Clubs at least 21 days before the date of the qualifier (18 February 2023).
Late prelim entries may be accepted at the discretion of the organiser with a late surcharge of £20 per team and £10 per individual, if there are sufficient spaces (payable to BRC HQ).
Late entries cannot be guaranteed therefore must not be paid for until approval from the organiser has been sought.

Team entries: £110.00 per team
Individuals: £27.50 per rider
Includes First Aid cover

Withdrawals/Refunds

If the date of the qualifier is cancelled for any reason, the close of initial entry will remain. However, if the qualifier is moved more than 21 days later, entries will be re-opened but late entry fees cannot be refunded. Eligibility will be approved at the original close of initial entry.

All competitions are pre-entry only, no refund or transfer is possible after initial close of entries date as published on the schedule.

All withdrawals to be made via e-mail please.

The booking fee is non-refundable in all cases.

For withdrawals before the published closing date refunds of the Entry Cost can be made less £3.00 Admin Fee. Alternatively, we can offer a free transfer to another event.

Abandonment Policy - In the case of abandonement of the competition for any reason we will offer a free transfer towards an alternative competition - or a refund minus a £3 admin fee. The booking fee is non-refundable in all cases.

No refunds or transfers can be made during the late entry period unless we are able to replace it from a wait list.

Terms & Conditions

All entries and payments to be made online.
Any visitor who displays any symptoms or suspects they may have contracted Covid-19 must obviously not attend the venue.
ALL horses must not be under current investigation for infectious diseases including, for example, Equine Herpes Virus (EHV), Equine Influenza, Strangles.
All Horses must not have been in contact with and is not kept on the same premises as a horse known to have or be under investigation for the neurological form of EHV, Equine Influenza,
Strangles or Equine Viral Arteritis.
All activity will be in accordance with the advice from the relevant national body, and ANY social distancing guidelines must always be adhered to.
Please keep your time on site to a minimum, please don’t arrive more than 40 minutes before your test/round/ride time and leave the site as soon as it is safe for your horse to travel. Hand sanitising stations will be provided and members are encouraged to take home their rubbish where possible.
Please park considerately, a safe distance from each other. Current recommendations are 10m apart if there is tying up on both sides of your box; 5m where tying up is on one side, and 3m apart if no tying up is used.
HORSES/PONIES MUST NOT BE LEFT TIED UP OUTSIDE UNATTENDED.
All competitors will be limited to 4 supporters per horse. No other person(s) should be in attendance.
Please do not park in front of or block access to the loading bay.
PLEASE PRINT/MAKE YOUR OWN ALLOCATED RIDER NUMBER. NUMBERS WILL BE
ALLOCATED WITH TIMES. THIS MUST BE WORN AT ALL TIMES AND MUST BE EASILY READABLE.
NO spectators or filming are allowed in any of the warm up or competition arenas. Please use viewing areas.
Warm up time may be limited by numbers allowed in arena to an estimated 30 – 40 minutes.
You are expected to ride on your allocated times. If you do not do so, you risk being unable to compete.
We ask that competitors maintain any social distancing in place at time of competition and, once you have finished competing, you leave the site as promptly as possible.
No scoreboards or screens will be used on event and all scores/results will be published online.

PLEASE CLEAR UP ANY DROPPINGS OR HAY IN THE LORRY PARK.
Dogs are allowed but MUST be kept on a short lead at all times. No Exceptions.
