Numbers to qualify: The Top 20 from each of the four height category league tables, will qualify for the National Club Championships held at the British Showjumping National Championships. Points
1st = 12, 2nd = 10, 3rd = 8, 4th = 6, 5th = 4, 6th = 3. Double Clear Points = 3.
Points are allocated depending on the number of starters; every one in five registered starters is eligible for points. If you gain a double clear you will receive three points regardless of starters. If a combination competes in more than two consecutive height classes per show day only the points from the bigger classes will be graded.
British Showjumping Boots / Leg Protection Ruling applies to this class, in accordance with Rule 102.15. Failure to comply will incur disqualification.

• British Novice:
Entry qualifications: to be ridden by Adult, Associate or Junior Members.
a) For Horses in Grade C that have not won a total of 125 points. Four Double Clears will qualify - in accordance with Rule 316.6.
b) For all horses born on or after 1 January 2018 irrespective of points. Horses will only be eligible for double clear qualification to Second Rounds if they reach the age of four years or under in the same calendar year as the British Novice Final - in accordance with Rule 316.6
Qualifies for: Senior British Novice Championship - Second Round. Qualifying period:1st May - 30th April inclusive.
Numbers to qualify: Those horses which jump a clear round in the first round, followed by a clear round in the jump-off, in at least four Senior British Novice First Round competitions held in any qualifying period will qualify to compete in the Senior British Novice Second Rounds, irrespective of their placings
for prize money in those competitions, which will be determined by the normal Table A rules (Rule 191). Horses in the class must go in to the jump-off and go clear to gain a double clear round qualification.
If combined with an open:
In Category 1 Shows and in the event of 30 starters or more the Open and the British Novice section will be split with two sets of prize money awarded.
In Category 2 Shows the sections must always be split with two sets of prize money awarded, irrespective of starters.
• 90cm Open:
For registered horses to be ridden by Adult, Associate or Junior Members.

• Discovery:
a) For Horses in Grade C that have not won a total of 225 points. Four Double Clears will qualify - in accordance with Rule 314.6.
b) For all horses born on or after 1 January 2017 irrespective of points. Horses will only be eligible for double clear qualification to Second Rounds if they reach the age of five years or under in the same calendar year as the Discovery Final - in accordance with Rule 314.6.
Qualifies for: Nupafeed Supplements Discovery Championship Second Round. Qualifying period: 1st May-30th April inclusive.
Numbers to qualify: Those horses that jump a clear round in the first round, followed by a clear round in the jump-off, in at least four First Round competitions held in any qualifying period, will qualify to compete in the Second Rounds, irrespective of their placings for prize money in those competitions, which will be determined by the normal Table A Rules (Rule 191). (b) For all horses born on or after 1st January 2016, irrespective of Points. Horses will only be eligible for double clear qualification to Second Rounds if they reach the age of six years or under in the same calendar year as the Newcomers Final - in accordance with Rule 312.6.
Four double clears will qualify for the Senior Newcomers Second Rounds. Qualifying period: The Senior Newcomers Second Round qualifying period for the 2022 second rounds is 1 May '21 – 30 April '22 (subject to revision).
If combined with an open: In the event of 30 or more starters the class will be split with two sets of prize money.
• 1.10m Open:
For registered horses ridden by Adult, Associate or Junior Members.

Qualification period: 1st June-31st May.
Numbers to qualify: Two double clears (subject to revision). Qualification is horse/rider combination.

For registered horses in grade C which have not won a total of 700 points, (unless Age Rule applies), to be ridden by Adult, Associate or Junior Members.
The first 8 horses qualify for the final, held at the Blue Chip Winter Championships. Qualification does not pass down the line. There will be dual qualification of double clears for the Senior Foxhunter second round. (Age rule applies)
Please note that in accordance with the amendment to BS Rule 310 all 7yr old horses are now eligible regardless of points won, but to qualify the horse must be 7yrs old in the year of the Final ie 2023. Therefore any horses which are 7yrs old from 1st September 2022 to 31st December 2022 and have won more than 700 points are unable to qualify in any qualifiers held from 1st September 2022 to 31st December 2022. Qualification does not pass down the line.
Qualifiers must jump clear in the first round if A7 or clear in both phases if Single Phase.

For registered horses in Grades B&C to be ridden by Adult, Associate or Junior members. This is a handicap class, the Grade B start height is 1.30m and the Grade C start height is 1.25m.
The first 8 horses qualify for the final, held at the Blue Chip Winter Championships. Qualification does not pass down the line. Qualified Grade C horses which upgrade after the qualification will compete in the Grade C section of the final. However, if they qualify again as a Grade B again, they will compete in the Grade B section of the final. There will be dual qualification of double clears for the National B&C Handicap Championship.
Qualifiers must jump clear in the first round if A7 or clear in both phases if Single Phase. Table A7 or Single Phase if more than 50 entries. Riders who qualify must submit their details at www.bluechipchamps.co.uk to register their qualification.

Entries in advanceonly. You can enter using our Secure Online Entry System. Payment is secure and it goes directly to The Grange EC. You will receive an email confirmation of your booking and payment.
Affiliated shows are required to repay 50 % of the entry fees in respect of all entry cancellations which are received by the Show Organiser not later than 48 hours before noon of the day on which the first affiliated competition of the show is scheduled to start except in those circumstances outlined in Rule 79.5.
