JUDGING:
For the Hunter Trials:
• The person nearest the OPTIMUM TIME in each class will be the winner based on the speed. Watches / stop watches are NOT TO BE WORN in any class.
• Competitors will be eliminated after 3 refusals at one jump, after 4 refusals over whole course. Riders may only continue the course with permission from a Mid Surrey Official/Jump Judge or Steward.
• Apart from Class 1, outside assistance will result in elimination

Terms & Conditions

Entries are accepted and admission granted only subject to the following conditions, which are deemed to have been accepted by each competitor. 1. Health, Safety and Welfare: The organisers of this event have taken all reasonable precautions to ensure the Health and Safety of everyone present at this event. For these measures to be effective, everyone must take all reasonable precautions to avoid and prevent accidents. They must obey the instructions of the organisers and all the Officials and Stewards. 2. Legal Liability: Save for the death or personal injury caused by the negligence of the organisers, or anyone for whom they are in law responsible, neither the organisers of this event or The Pony Club nor any agent, employee or representative of these bodies, nor the landlord or his tenant, accepts any liability for any accident, loss, damage, injury or illness to horses, owners, riders, spectators, land, cars, their contents and accessories, or any other person or property whatsoever, whether caused by their negligence breach of contract or in any other way whatsoever. Entries are only accepted on this basis. 3. This competition will be run in accordance with Pony Club Eventing Rules 2022. It is the responsibility of all competitors to know the rules. Please refer to the main Pony Club website for full rule book 4. All riding hats/body protectors must conform to Pony Club Rules 2022. https://pcuk.org/officials/health-and-safety/dress-and-tack/ Hard Hats conforming to PC standards MUST BE WORN AT ALL TIMES with chin straps done up when mounted. No fixed peaks. Back protectors are compulsory. Air jackets must be used in conjunction with a back protector. No Jewellery is allowed. The whip must be 'padded. ' The maximum length of the whip is 70cm and must be no less than 45cm. Long hair. In the interest of safety, long hair must be secured appropriately in a hairnet. Hair must not obscure the competitor’s number at any time. The Pony Club Saddlery and Dress rules will be strictly enforced. MEDICAL ARM BANDS: It is the competitor’s responsibility to wear a PC/BE medical armband during the cross-country phase if they have a medical condition that may impact on their care in the case of an emergency. 5. Numbers will not be given out for Number Bibs. THREE copies (1 for front of bib; 1 for back of bib and 1 for your vehicle). Number bibs available for sale £10 each. 6. The judge’s decision is final in all matters. The Organisers reserve the right to cancel, add or amend any of the conditions or competitions, as they think fit and to refuse entry at their discretion. Any objection must be made to the secretary with a deposit of £15 not later than 30 minutes after the incident, which will be refunded if the objection is upheld. 7. The organisers reserve the right to refuse any entry without stating a reason for doing so and reserve the right to eliminate any competitor who in their opinion places her/himself or others in danger or fails to observe rules. 8. Entry fee refunded, less £5 admin fee, before entry closing date. After closing date entry fee, less £5 admin fee, only refunded on production of Vet or Doctor’s certificate. 9. Horses or ponies must be 4 years or over on the day of the show. 10. No horses/ponies to be left unattended when tied to the lorry/trailer 11. In the event of cancellation of the event, monies will be refunded less £5.00 per entry administration fee. 12. Rosettes can be posted upon receipt of a large, 1st Class stamped addressed envelope.
