Rule 414. DRAWN ORDER In the event of insufficient entries lower prizes will be withheld. Rule - 76.6 For registered ponies not exceeding 138cms, to be ridden by Junior Members, ages in accordance with Rules 77.12 & 77.13. This competition is open to all but for qualification purposes, those riders up to the end of the calendar year in which the age of 10 is reached are eligible to enter irrespective of Points achieved. Riders aged 10 years and over on 1 January in the calendar year must not have won a total of 350 Points in the 128cms Section and 700 Points in the 138cms section. Ponies 128cm & under are not permitted to enter the 138cm Section. Pony Riders who have ever obtained points in the Gold League are not eligible for the Stepping Stones Final. Pony/Rider combinations who have ever obtained points in the Silver and/or Gold League are also not eligible for the Stepping Stones Final. Once Riders have competed at, or have ever qualified for RIHS or HOYS on any height pony they are no longer eligible to compete in the Final. Once a pony has qualified with any rider for RIHS or HOYS in the current year, then it is not eligible to compete in the final. Qualifies for: Four double clear rounds to qualify for the British Showjumping National Championships. Two double clear rounds will also qualify for the Scope Festival. Qualifying Period: 1st August - 31st July for Stepping Stones. 1st January-31st July for Debut Handicap Championship. Numbers to qualify: Those pony/rider combinations who achieve four double clears (subject to revision) will qualify for the Final. Those ponies who achieve two double clears will also qualify for the Debut Handicap Championship Final at the Scope Festival (those qualified to Scope, are asked to email office@southviewarena.com). No rider may compete more than three ponies in the same section. British Showjumping Boots / Leg Protection Ruling applies to this class, in accordance with Rule 102.15. Qualifies for: Pony British Novice Championship Second Rounds. Qualifying period 1st May-30th April inclusive. Numbers to qualify: Those ponies that jump a clear round in the first round, followed by a clear round in the jump-off, in at least four Pony British Novice First Round competitions held in the qualifying period will qualify to compete in a Pony British Novice Second Rounds, irrespective of their placings for prize money in those competitions, which will be determined by the normal Table A Rules (Rule 191). Ponies in the class must go in to the jump-off and go clear to gain their double clear round qualification. The winner of a particular Pony British Novice First Round competition will not automatically qualify solely as a result of that competition. • 80cm Open: For registered ponies in Grade JA, JC, JD to be ridden by Junior Members If combined with an open: In the event of 15 or more starters this class will be split with two sets of prize money. Numbers to qualify: Those ponies that jump a clear round in the First Round, followed by a clear round in the jump-off in at least four Blue Chip Pony Newcomers First Round competitions held in any qualifying period will qualify to compete in a Pony Newcomers Second Round. • The Open Section is for registered ponies in Grade JA, JC, JD to be ridden by Junior Members. Junior Members, in either the Open or the Newcomers Section who have not won a total of 500 Points are eligible for double clear qualification for the Pony Restricted Rider 1.00m Championship. Riders who have accrued points on the Pony Gold League are not eligible to compete in the Restricted Rider 1.00m Final. Qualifies for: Four double clears will qualify for the Pony Restricted Rider 1.00m Championship to be held at the British Showjumping National Championships. Qualifying period: 1st May-30th April. Horses (or ponies in pony competitions) may compete in one section only. In the event of insufficient entries lower prizes will be withheld. Rule - 76.6 • Newcomers: (a) For registered horses in Grade C that have not won a total of 375 points. Four double clears will qualify - in accordance with rule 312.6 (b) For all horses born on or after 1st January 2016, irrespective of Points. Horses will only be eligible for double clear qualification to Second Rounds if they reach the age of six years or under in the same calendar year as the Newcomers Final - in accordance with Rule 312.6. Four double clears will qualify for the Senior Newcomers Second Rounds. Qualifying period: The Senior Newcomers Second Round qualifying period for the 2022 second rounds is 1 May '21 – 30 April '22 (subject to revision). If combined with an open: In the event of 30 or more starters the class will be split with two sets of prize money. • 1.10m Open: For registered horses ridden by Adult, Associate or Junior Members. • All horse/rider combinations eligible for the 1.10m National Amateur First Round will receive dual qualification of double clears, in either section of a Newcomer - first round/1.10m open competition. Terms & Conditions

Strictly no Lunging in any of the Arenas
Horses must not be left unattended tied to a horse box on the Car Park
Only Horses competing are allowed to use the Warm up Arena
Please do not skip out lorries on to the car park, put any droppings in trailer provided.
All dogs must be kept on leads and are not allowed into the canteen area.
Correct British Standard Headgear conforming to BS4472, BS6473 or current standards to be worn at all times when mounted.
When jumping practise fences always keep the red wing on the right.
For unaffiliated Show Jumping, Jackets are not required, but please dress smartly and appropriately.
All riders with long hair are recommended to keep their hair above shoulder length for their own safety.
Anyone hiring arenas or instructing is responsible for their own first aid and insurance.
These sets of rules are to ensure the safety of all staff and personel on the Badgworth Arena site.

All shows will follow strict covid rules, please follow the covid guidelines and stay 2 metres apart.
