Rule - 76.6 • British Novice: For registered ponies in Grade JD, that have not won a total of 150 Points to be ridden by Junior Members, ages as per Rule 77.12/77.13. Qualifies for: Pony British Novice Championship Second Rounds. Qualifying period 1st May-30th April inclusive. Numbers to qualify: Those ponies that jump a clear round in the first round, followed by a clear round in the jump-off, in at least four Pony British Novice First Round competitions held in the qualifying period will qualify to compete in a Pony British Novice Second Rounds, irrespective of their placings for prize money in those competitions, which will be determined by the normal Table A Rules (Rule 191). Ponies in the class must go in to the jump-off and go clear to gain their double clear round qualification. Rule - 76.6 • 138cm Section: For registered ponies that have won 30 Points or more exceeding 128cms but not exceeding 138cms to be ridden by Junior Members (ages in accordance with Rule 77.12). Pony riders are not eligible to compete before the calendar year in which their 8th birthday is reached. Qualifies for: Winter 138cms Second Round Competition. Qualifying period: September to January. Numbers to qualify: Two double clears (subject to revision). • 128cm Section: For registered ponies that have won 30 Points or more not exceeding 128cms to be ridden by Junior Members (ages in accordance with Rule 77.13). Junior riders are not eligible to compete before the calendar year in which their 8th birthday is reached. Qualifies for: Winter 128cms Second Round Competition. Qualifying period: September to January. Numbers to qualify: Two double clears to qualify (subject to revision). Dispensation will be given to run the Winter 128cms and Winter 138cms First Rounds as a handicap competition. If run as a Handicap, pony riders will be given dispensation to ride up to three ponies in each height section. Rule - 76.6 • Newcomers: (a) For registered horses in Grade C that have not won a total of 375 points. Four double clears will qualify - in accordance with rule 312.6 (b) For all horses born on or after 1st January 2016, irrespective of Points. Horses will only be eligible for double clear qualification to Second Rounds if they reach the age of six years or under in the same calendar year as the Newcomers Final - in accordance with Rule 312.6. Four double clears will qualify for the Senior Newcomers Second Rounds. Qualifying period: The Senior Newcomers Second Round qualifying period for the 2022 second rounds is 1 May '21 – 30 April '22 (subject to revision). If combined with an open: In the event of 30 or more starters the class will be split with two sets of prize money. • 1.10m Open: For registered horses ridden by Adult, Associate or Junior Members. • All horse/rider combinations eligible for the 1.10m National Amateur First Round will receive dual qualification of double clears, in either section of a Newcomer - first round/1.10m open competition. Payment is secure and it goes directly to West Wilts EC. You will receive an email confirmation of your class entry and payment.

All day tickets must be purchased through British Show Jumping. This online ticket is for the horse/rider combination for the whole day. You will receive a Ticket number – this must be included on your entry.

Withdrawals/Refunds

Affiliated shows are required to repay 50 % of the entry fees in respect of all entry cancellations which are received by the Show Organiser not later than 48 hours before noon of the day on which the first affiliated competition of the show is scheduled to start except in those circumstances outlined in Rule 79.5.

Terms & Conditions

All entries and payments to be made online. Any visitor who displays any symptoms or suspects they may have contracted Covid-19 must obviously not attend the venue. ALL horses must not be under current investigation for infectious diseases including, for example, Equine Herpes Virus (EHV), Equine Influenza, Strangles. All Horses must not have been in contact with and is not kept on the same premises as a horse known to have or be under investigation for the neurological form of EHV, Equine Influenza, Strangles or Equine Viral Arteritis. All activity will be in accordance with the advice from the relevant national body, and ANY social distancing guidelines must always be adhered to. Please keep your time on site to a minimum, please don’t arrive more than 40 minutes before your test/round/ride time and leave the site as soon as it is safe for your horse to travel. Hand sanitising stations will be provided and members are encouraged to take home their rubbish where possible. Please park considerately, a safe distance from each other. Current recommendations are 10m apart if there is tying up on both sides of your box; 5m where tying up is on one side, and 3m apart if no tying up is used. HORSES/PONIES MUST NOT BE LEFT TIED UP OUTSIDE UNATTENDED. All competitors will be limited to 4 supporters per horse. No other person(s) should be in attendance. Please do not park in front of or block access to the loading bay. PLEASE PRINT/MAKE YOUR OWN ALLOCATED RIDER NUMBER OR USE YOUR NUMBER DISK. NUMBERS WILL BE ALLOCATED WITH TIMES. THIS MUST BE WORN AT ALL TIMES AND MUST BE EASILY READABLE. NO spectators or filming are allowed in any of the warm up or competition arenas. Please use viewing areas. Warm up time may be limited by numbers allowed in arena to an estimated 30 – 40 minutes. You are expected to ride on your allocated times. If you do not do so, you risk being unable to compete. We ask that competitors maintain any social distancing in place at time of competition and, once you have finished competing, you leave the site as promptly as possible. No scoreboards or screens will be used on event and all scores/results will be published online at the end of the day. DRESSAGE SHEETS - Please email us for a copy or leave an A5 Large Letter Stamped Addressed HARD BACKED Envelope for rosettes or an ordinary SAE for dressage sheets only. PLEASE CLEAR UP ANY DROPPINGS OR HAY IN THE LORRY PARK. Dogs are allowed but MUST be kept on a short lead at all times. No Exceptions.
