Rule - 76.6 For registered ponies not exceeding 138cms, to be ridden by Junior Members, ages in accordance with Rules 77.12 & 77.13. This competition is open to all but for qualification purposes, those riders up to the end of the calendar year in which the age of 10 is reached are eligible to enter irrespective of Points achieved. Riders aged 10 years and over on 1 January in the calendar year must not have won a total of 350 Points in the 128cms Section and 700 Points in the 138cms section. Ponies 128cm & under are not permitted to enter the 138cm Section. Pony Riders who have ever obtained points in the Gold League are not eligible for the Stepping Stones Final. Pony/Rider combinations who have ever obtained points in the Silver and/or Gold League are also not eligible for the Stepping Stones Final. Once Riders have competed at, or have ever qualified for RIHS or HOYS on any height pony they are no longer eligible to compete in the Final. Once a pony has qualified with any rider for RIHS or HOYS in the current year, then it is not eligible to compete in the final. Qualifies for: Four double clear rounds to qualify for the British Showjumping National Championships. Two double clear rounds will also qualify for the Scope Festival. Qualifying Period: 1st August - 31st July for Stepping Stones. 1st January-31st July for Debut Handicap Championship. Numbers to qualify: Those pony/rider combinations who achieve four double clears (subject to revision) will qualify for the Final. Those ponies who achieve two double clears will also qualify for the Debut Handicap Championship Final at the Scope Festival (those qualified to Scope, are asked to email office@southviewarena.com). This competition is open to all but for qualification purposes: • In the 128cms section, Junior riders are eligible to enter, irrespective of points achieved, before the calendar year in which the age of 10 years is reached. Riders who reach the age of 10 years and over in the current calendar year must not have won a total of 500 points. (as of 01.08.2017 pony/rider combination). • In the 138cms section, Junior riders are eligible to enter, irrespective of points achieved, before the calendar year in which the age of 12 is reached. Riders who reach the age 12 years and over in the current calendar year must not have won a total of 850 points. (as of 01.08.2017 pony/rider combination). Junior Riders are not eligible to enter the 138cms section until the calendar year in which their 8th birthday is reached. Ponies 128cm & under are not permitted to enter the 138cm section. Once riders have competed at, or have ‘ever’ qualified for RIHS or HOYS on any height pony they are no longer eligible to compete in the Final. Pony/rider combinations who have accrued points on the Pony Gold League are not eligible to compete in the final of this competition. Qualifies for: Springboard Final. Qualifying Period: 1st February -31st January. Numbers to Qualify: Four double clears to qualify for the Final. Qualification is pony/rider combination. Ponies in the class must go into the jump-off and go clear to gain its double clear round qualification. In order to compete in the Final, all qualified competitors ages must be in accordance with the Rule 77.12 & 77.13 in the year of the Final. No rider may compete more than three ponies in the same section. British Showjumping Boots / Leg Protection Ruling applies to this class, in accordance with Rule 102.15. Pony riders are not eligible to compete before the calendar year in which their 8th birthday is reached. Qualifies for: Winter 138cms Second Round Competition. Qualifying period: September to January. Numbers to qualify: Two double clears (subject to revision). • 128cm Section: For registered ponies that have won 30 Points or more not exceeding 128cms to be ridden by Junior Members (ages in accordance with Rule 77.13). Junior riders are not eligible to compete before the calendar year in which their 8th birthday is reached. Qualifies for: Winter 128cms Second Round Competition. Qualifying period: September to January. Numbers to qualify: Two double clears to qualify (subject to revision). Dispensation will be given to run the Winter 128cms and Winter 138cms First Rounds as a handicap competition. If run as a Handicap, pony riders will be given dispensation to ride up to three ponies in each height section. This class will split in the event of 20 starters or more and two sets of prize money awarded. No rider may ride more than three ponies in the same competition, in accordance with rule 77.6. Affiliated shows are required to repay 50 % of the entry fees in respect of all entry cancellations which are received by the Show Organiser not later than 48 hours before noon of the day on which the first affiliated competition of the show is scheduled to start except in those circumstances outlined in Rule 79.5.

Terms & Conditions

Anvil Park Stud has taken all reasonable precautions to ensure the health and safety of everyone present.
For these measures to be effective, everyone must take all reasonable precautions to avoid & prevent accidents occurring & must obey the instructions of the owners/agents whether written or verbal.
Anvil Park Stud shall not be liable for any claim in respect of damage, loss, injury or accident to any person, horse or property howsoever caused.
It shall be deemed a condition of entry that each entrant has read and understood these terms and conditions and shall indemnify Anvil Park Stud or any person acting on their behalf against any legal action arising from such an incident.
No rider under the age of 4 years old permitted.
All entries are on the day & payable at time of booking.
All prize money won to be collected from the secretary.
No refunds will be given once classes have commenced.
BS Rule 76.6 may be applied.
All classes to be judged in accordance with BS/qualifier rules. Judges decision is final.
Hard hats to current BS EN 1384, PAS 015 or ASTM F1163 must be worn & correctly secured whilst mounted.
It is recommended that back protectors are worn whilst mounted.
All stallions must be kept under control at all times & not handled by anyone under 14 years. All stallions must have red/white/blue ribbon in tail.
Lorries must not be mucked out onto car park. Please place muck, hay etc into area provided.
No Horses are to be tied up to lorry/trailer unsupervised.
No bicycles or motorcycles, except disabled scooters, anywhere on site.
All dogs must be kept on leads at all times on the show ground.
No ball games permitted at any time.
No fires or barbeques at any time on the premises.
No smoking permitted inside stables, buildings or arena premises.
All children under the age of 16 years must be supervised by a responsible adult at all times.
All rubbish/litter to be removed from site or placed in bins provided.
Any person who fails to comply with these terms & conditions will be liable to forfeit their fees & expulsion from site.
In the event of any rider travelling to a show on their own, details of a contact should be left with the secretary in case of an accident
