Entries close 14th July. Late entries if space available £2 extra.

Beechwood EC are delighted to be hosting the South Eastern SDU Unaffiliated Festival this Summer. The shows are open to everyone, on any type of horse or pony, and are designed to celebrate the achievement of taking part as well as acknowledging that it doesn’t always go to plan! The competition will be a fun, relaxed atmosphere with some unusual prizes on offer!

Classes 2-12 are regular unaffiliated dressage. Restricted classes are for riders never to have scored 65 %+ at that level. Open classes an be entered by any combination.

Payment Details & Event Fees

You can enter securely via our online booking service with My Riding Life.
All Payments and bookings come directly to Beechwood Equestrian Centre.
All classes £17.50 entry fee. First aid fee £2/rider.

Prize Information

All entries to receive SDU keepsake. SDU branded rosettes, sashes, trophies, pins and badges all up for grabs alongside regular rosettes!

Worst Behaved Pony in Competition Special prize on offer for the worst equine behaviour of the day! Scored on sliding scale of naughtiness, to be allocated marks by the judge based on the following and awarded on a separate sheet: Kicking out at aid / resistance +2 marks Leaving arena +5 marks Galloping off during test +5 marks Bucking during test +7 marks Rearing during test +10 marks Unplanned Dismount +25 marks Prize : The honour of having the naughtiest horse/pony gets a trophy! Rosettes for 2nd/3rd place.

Times available on My Riding Life 48hrs before event. Results live on My Riding Life.

No refunds after closing date.

Beechwood EC Terms and Conditions apply, can be found on our website or in reception

Results will be available online at the end of the class and sheets/rosettes will be available to be collected or can be posted if a SAE is left at the office or on payment of £2.
