RULES AND CONDITIONS OF ENTRY
Entries are accepted and admission granted only subject to the following conditions, which are deemed to have been accepted by each competitor.
1. Neither the East Devon Branch of the PC nor Poltimore nor any judge or any steward, officer or servant shall be liable for anything that may happen from any cause or circumstances whosoever to any person, animal, article or property.
2. It is a condition of entry that each competitor shall indemnify the above mentioned against such matters aforesaid.
3. The judge’s decision is final. Any objection must be made to the secretary with a deposit of £10 not later than 20 minutes after the incident.
5. The organisers reserve the right to refuse any entry without stating a reason for doing so and also reserve the right to eliminate any competitor who in their opinion places her/himself or others in danger or fails to observe rules.
6. All entries to be made online only. Telephone entries will not be accepted.
7. Horses or ponies must be 4 years or over on the day of the show and No Horses or ponies may be ridden other than by the competitor on the day of the competition.
8. The organisers have taken every reasonable precaution to ensure the health and safety of everyone present. For these measures to be effective everyone must take all reasonable precautions to avoid or prevent accidents occurring and must obey the instructions of the organisers and officials and stewards.
9. All dogs must be kept on a short lead at all times.
10. All droppings to be picked up and taken home.
11. No horses/ponies are to be left unattended when tied to the lorry/trailer.
12. In the event of cancellation notification will be posted on the East Devon PC website. Monies will be refunded less £5 per entry administration fee.

14. Times will be issued for each competitor and must be strictly adhered to.
15. The judge’s decision will be final.
18. Horses and ponies must be over 4 years on the day of the competition.
19. Competitors must present themselves for tack inspection (done under Covid 19 guidelines) a minimum of 15 minutes before they jump..
20. Correct protective hats must be worn comply with the 2020 Pony Club rules which can be found at www.pcuk.org/index.php/dcs_health_safety/dress_and_tack/ . Hats must be clearly tagged with the aquamarine tag. Failure to comply will result in elimination. The wearing of body protectors is recommended. The Pony Club Saddlery and Dress rules will be strictly enforced.
21. The warm up arena will be stewarded.
22. The jumps in the warm up arena must not exceed the height of the jumps in the ring.
23. Withdrawals by 24th May will receive a 75% refund, withdrawals thereafter cannot be refunded unless production of a vet or doctor’s certificate within 7 days of the competition.
24. In the event that the competition has to be cancelled all entries will be refunded minus a £5 Admin Fee
