Show Information

Entries close on 27th May 2022. We cannot accept entries on the day, but do email Scilla Landale on norfolkcoastrdasponsoredride@gmail.com to check if a late entry can be accepted.

Set in an area of outstanding natural beauty, the 2250 acre Kelling Estate is the ideal setting for our sponsored ride. In aid of raising money for two local very worthwhile charities the East Anglian Air Ambulance and the Norfolk Coast Riding for the Disabled Association

3 Mile Ride
This is for riders and horses of any age and experience. All children must be led or accompanied by a responsible person ON FOOT ONLY. Enjoy a scenic trek around the heart of the Kelling Estate following mainly grassy terrain and gentle inclines. The route takes you through bluebell valley and around open fields finishing with a magnificent view of Kelling Hall.

11 Mile Ride
The ride starts with the 3 mile trek around the heart of the Kelling Estate, expanding to some of the most stunning views of lakes and woodland. Be sure to take your time and look for deer, buzzards and the odd hare or two!

Join Sarah Reeve in the working equitation arena – pay £5 and have a go!

Safety
£2 charge towards First Aid cover, required on the day.
BHS Approved hats must be worn by all riders.
Children aged 14 & under on the 11 mile ride must be accompanied by an adult rider.
All riders ride at their own risk.
We strongly recommend that all riders have valid third party insurance cover.
We do ask that no bikes are used on either courses.
A vet will be on call throughout the day.

Payment Details & Event Fees
Bookings in advance only. Entry is free but there is a minimum sponsorship of £25 per rider and we ask that you try and raise at least another £20 in sponsorship. We ask that you please raise as much as you can for these two very worthwhile charities.

You will be asked to enter the names of the people you want to ride with
Online payment will be made via Paypal or Debit/ Credit Card.
Payment is secure and goes directly to Norfolk Coast Riding for the Disabled Association.
You will receive an email confirmation of your booking and payment.

Prize Information
Not only will you get an overwhelming sense of well-being raising money for these fabulous charities, but all riders completing either course will be awarded a rosette.

The adults prize for the most money raised has very kindly been donated by Adnams and the children’s prize donated by Marsham Saddlery

Special Classes

The Norfolk coast Riding for the Disabled Association provides school age children and adults with a range of disabilities, the opportunity to experience horses and ponies at the North Norfolk Riding Centre based in Little Walsingham. Offering first time and nervous riders as well as more competent riders, activities including stable management, beginners riding and competitions.

East Anglian Air Ambulance exists to save lives by delivering highly skilled doctors and critical care paramedics by air or car to seriously ill or injured people in our region. This life saving charity can only be kept airborne with the support of donations.
