Show Information

All classes will be run as a BSJA Single Phase Competition, a course in two parts with second part timed.  All will jump against the clock immediately after their first round, even with faults unless eliminated. Exception to BSJA rules is that it is 3 refusals for elimination. Winner is the rider with the fewest (or zero) faults with the fastest time in the second section

We will be following government advice and BRC guidance which may change regarding Covid-19 related safety so please keep an eye out for any updates.

UK Riders SHOWJUMPING RULES

 

Maximum heights of fences -

1.     New Starts: 40cm – 45cm 

2.     Mini: 50cm – 55cm 

3.     Beginners: 60cm – 65cm 

4.     Novice: 70cm – 75cm 

5.     Intermediate: 80cm – 85cm 

6.     Advanced: 90cm – 95cm 

7.     Master: 1m

 

To qualify as a Junior in the 2022 Challenge the competitor must be aged 16 years or under on the 1st September 2020. http://www.ukridersequestrianevents.co.uk

 

This show is a qualifier for The Sunshine Tour Championships held at The All England Showground, Hickstead from Thursday 15th – Sunday 18th September 2022. The Championships are for unaffiliated and amateur competitors in Dressage from Intro to Elementary, Show Jumping from Lead Rein to 1.05m; Showing for lead rein, in-hand, ridden, working hunter, veterans, plus many more, Eventer’s Challenge from 50cm through to 90cm.

Qualification: 1st – 4th place. Qualification does not pass down the line.

Late Entries will be taken until Wednesday midday if space allows - Late Entry with a £2 surcharge per entry

Payment Details & Event Fees

Bookings in advance using our Secure Online Entry System.

Payment is secure and it goes directly to Bozeat Riding Club. You will receive an email confirmation of your booking and payment.

Withdrawals can be transferred to another event if arrange before the closing date

There will be a £5.00 admin charge for any Refunds

Entry Fee: £10.00 for Bozeat Members, £12.00 for Non-Members

Medical £1.00 per rider for the day

Special Classes

Bozeat will be running a Member Point system awarded at all Bozeat Events. Member Points are then accrued throughout the year as follows:

1st highest placed member 6 points

2nd highest placed member 5 points

3rd highest placed member 4 points

4th highest placed member 3 points

5th highest placed member 2 points

6th highest placed member 1 point

Withdrawals/Refunds

REFUND POLICY: 100% refund will be given for withdrawals before Closing Date. (Booking Fees are not refundable)

No refunds after the Closing date unless replaced in which case a refund will be subject to a £5 admin fee.

Entries received after Closing date will not be eligible for a refund.

In the event of illness or injury No refunds will be given without the production of a Vet or GP letter

Show Jumping Rules

 

·       It is a condition of entry that each competitor has read, understood and agreed to abide by these rules.

·       This competition will be run in accordance with British Riding Club Rules. 

·       All classes will be run as a BSJA Single Phase Competition, a course in two parts with second part timed. All will jump against the clock immediately after their first round, even with faults unless eliminated. Exception to BSJA rules is that it is 3 refusals for elimination. ·       The organisers & landowners do not accept any liability for damage, accident, injury or illness to horses, riders, spectators or personal property

·       Hard hats to current BSI Standards must be worn at all times when mounted

·       The Organizers reserve the right to alter, add to or cancel any Class, and to refuse any entry without stating a reason.

·       No Misuse of the Whip, equipment or Practise fences will be allowed

·       Practice fences jump must not be higher than the current class height  

·       Horses/Ponies must be 4yrs old and over

·       Horses must not be left unattended whilst tied up to your lorry/trailer

·       The Judge’s decision is final.

·       Objections must be made within 15 minutes of the offence and must be accompanied by £15, which will be refunded if the objection is sustained.

·       Entries taken Online in advance or On the Day with a £2 surcharge per entry

·       In the event of illness or injury No refunds will be given without the production of a Vet or GP letter

·       Please remove all droppings/hay from the lorry park

·       An adult must supervise children at all times

·       All dogs must be kept on the lead and under control at all times

·       Hair above the hair collar

·       PHOTOGRAPHER ATTENDING - if you do not wish your child to be photographed, please notify the Secretary upon entry

·       You do not need to be a member of a British Riding Club to enter this competition but it is strongly recommended that if you are not you carry some form of 3rd Party Public Liability Insurance.
