Passports or proof of vaccination should accompany all horses random compliance checks will take place 6 Horses only allowed in the warm up.
We ask that all competitors present themselves at the Test Arena Waiting Bay before the rider infront of them finishes their test. If you require help from your groom use the assistance area next to warm up. The on site Cafe can ONLY ACCEPT CASH Rosettes and results are available at the end of the day. However, if you would like your sheet and any rosette won posting out (at your own risk) to you please bring along an A4 LARGE LETTER SAE for each test. Alternatively we can send your sheet electronically. Rosettes can be collected at the next event. Follow our page and stories for updates throughout the day. Our Team YEC staff will do there very best to help you but please be on time and ready for your slot. ⚠️Please read our directions on the website if this your first visit and ensure that you arrive using LAITH STAID LANE.

Entries & payment in advance only. You can book using our Secure Online Entry System.
Payment is secure and it goes directly to Yorkshire Equestrian Centre.
You will receive an email confirmation of your booking and payment.
All day first aid cover per rider £1
Callers £1 per Test (Booking in ADVANCE only. Please select a caller for EACH test you require calling.)
Dressage event entry withdrawals - refunds will only be given if the withdrawal is made before the close of entries stated above or earlier if the event is FULL. After that time no refunds or credits will be given. Withdrawals will be refunded minus the admin fees. If we cancel any event refunds will always be made.
You must be organised and ready at all times, failure to do so will not secure a refund of entries.
Warm Up will be in the Covered Arena with 6 riders allowed. Only YEC Stewards will have unmounted access to those warm ups.
Cafe will be serving Drinks, Snacks and limited hot food.
Health and Safety and Entry Conditions
No responsibility will be accepted by the organisers for anything that may happen to competitors, onlookers or their property, helpers or horses in connection with or arising out of this show. It shall be considered a condition of entry that each entrant agrees to indemnify the promoters against any legal action arising there from The organisers reserve the right to refuse entry and to amend the details of the schedule if the programme requires and to cancel any class with insufficient entries.
ALL cash prizes and qualification cards must be collected from the show office on the day. We will not hold them after the day and will be forfeited if not collected.
Correct show attire must be worn. ie light coloured jodphurs or breeches, show or hacking jacket. Competition boots or chaps, no yard/country style boots). Arms must be covered at all times. Riding hats must comply with current safety standards.
Body protectors are preferred but not compulsory. Long hair must be tied up securely.
Competition run under BS/BD/BE rules as guidelines. Horses may compete in a maximum of 3 classes.
All horses must have completed the primary course 7 days before the event for Equine Flu or have had an annual booster. The horse must be deemed fit and sound to compete. The Centre reserves the right to not allow a horse thought unfit or unsound to compete, entries will not be refunded. Any horse not vaccinated to our policy will not be permitted entry to the premises. Young horses, horses known to kick and stallions must wear appropriate ribbons in their tails.
Stallions must be clearly identified, have public liability insurance and be handled and or ridden by a responsible adult not child at all times.
All Competitors must have third party insurance for their rides.
All riders must be on time to compete.
No outside help is permitted whilst competing in your round.
Please use the Centre and facilities with politeness for others and to staff, no bullying or abuse will be tolerated and the organisers reserve to right to refuse entry to the Centre or ask any persons to leave the centre immediately if such behaviour is shown.
No horses must be left unattended tied up to the side of trailers or horseboxes. v Please pick up litter and place in the bins provided and keep the parking area as free from hay and droppings as possible. There is a muck barrow for your use near the parking gate.
All entries booked and not taken must be paid for – no entries will be refunded unless the class is cancelled.
Please keep all dogs on a lead and clean up after them. Any dog causing disruption will be asked to leave.
The decision of the judge will be final – any objection should be made to the Secretary, together with a deposit of £20 which will be forfeited if the objection is not upheld by the Organisers.
All spectator or grooms vehicles must be parked in the designated area and NOT with the horseboxes and trailers.
