Show Information

 ADVANCE ENTRY ONLY. ENTRIES MAY BE TAKEN AFTER THE DEADLINE, ONLY IF SPACE ALLOWS, AT AN ADDITIONAL COST OF £4.00 PER CLASS.

Riders Must have their own public liability insurance.

NO HORSE/PONY TO COMPETE IN MORE THAN 2 CLASSES

BIBS Please print your own bib numbers (must be clear to read)

 

There will be an optimum time in all classes 0.4 per second under or over the Optimum time

 

Show Jumping:

The show jumping course will consist of

• 10 show jumps,

• least one double

• include a proportion with fillers (Over 60cms)

• spread fences.

 

Cross-country: The Cross-Country course:

• will consist of a minimum of 8 jumping efforts, some will be knocked fences

• will be strongly built with a good ground line and should look imposing

• will have all fences flagged and numbered

• NO Water jump (for this year only)

 

Method of starting

Individual

• Competitor’s present themselves to the show jumping judge and wait for the bell to ring before commencing show jumping.

• when finished Show jumping round leave the arena via XC Flags to start XC round.

• Show jumping and XC timed will be timed separately. (show jumping time if xc jump time the same Fastest score wins)

• Eliminated rider MUST leave the course at a walk.

 

Pairs

• Both competitors will enter the arena together the competitor with the lowest number will present themselves to the show jumping judge and wait for the bell to ring before commencing show jumping the the show jumping course the 2nd rider will be in a start box waiting to start the round

• when the 2nd competitor has finished their show jumping round both will leave the arena via XC Flags to start XC round together.

• show jumping and XC times will be timed separately. (show jumping time if xc jump time the same Fastest score wins)

• Pairs will be scored separately for disobedience. but together as a total score

• Allowing the NON eliminated competitor to carry on the course (but the total score will be an elimination)

• Eliminated rider MUST leave the course at a walk.

Pairs Bozeat & BRC Area 7 Members £40.00 (£20.00 each) Non-Members £45.00 (22.50 each)

Cash/ Late entries will be allowed on Saturday’s ONLY IF SPACE ALLOWS, AT AN ADDITIONAL COST OF £5.00 PER CLASS

Withdrawals/Refunds
  • A refund will be given for withdrawals before Closing Date minus £5.00 admin fee.
  • Transfer to another event before the closing date free before close of entries
  • No refunds after the closing date unless replaced in which case a refund will be subject to a £5 admin fee.
  • Entries received after closing date will not be eligible for a refund
  • ALL On line booking fees are non-refundable.
  • No refunds or transfers after the closing date will be given without the production of a Vet or GP letter
  • If the venue cancels due to bad weather all entries will automatically be transferred to the next event for the same discipline and price.

Terms & Conditions

 

1) It is a condition of entry that each competitor has read, understood and agreed to abide by these rules. 

2) The organizers, and all persons connected with the event, accept no liability for any accident, damage, illness or loss of, or to, any horse, rider, spectator or any other persons or property whatsoever.

3) 1st aid cover will be provided (no Paramedic cover)

4) Any competitor jumping any fence outside of the jumping arenas, other than the allocated practice fence will be disqualified.

5) The organizers reserve the right to refuse or refund entries.

6) Any objection must be lodged at the secretary’s box within 15 minutes of the end of the class, with a deposit of £20.00. The panel’s decision is final. If the objection is over-ruled, the deposit is not refundable.

7) Hair must not reach the collar.

8) No galloping is permitted outside the rings.

9) Competitors that have been eliminated must leave the Course at a walk.

10) We advise wearing body protectors at all times when mounted at shows and events, this is compulsory when competing at Eventer Challenge. Air jackets can be an addition to a body protector.

11) Dogs must be kept on leads and under control at all times, unless securely left inside vehicles. Remember dogs will die if left in hot cars.

12) In the event of cancellation by Glebe Farm E.C all entries will automatically be transferred to the next event for the same discipline and price

13) In the event of illness or injury No refunds will be given without the production of a Vet or GP letter.

14) PHOGRAPHER ATTENDING - if you do not wish your child to be photographed, please notify the Secretary upon entry.

15) No telephone entries will be accepted

16) No entry will be accepted without the correct remittance.

17) No entries will be accepted without the full entry fee

18) Please leave adequate time to prepare for your class.

19) No Stopwatches or Head cams are permitted on the course.

20) SMALL Studs may be worn i.e. Small grass studs only due to jumping on the arena 1st.
