Christmas Fancy Dress

10am. Fun Fancy dress. Rider must be mounted and horse must be included within the dressing up. Riding hats and boots mandatory. Class to be judged on the best effort and most Christmassy costume!

Clear Round Cross Pole Show Jumping

The Reindeer Run (Not before 10am). Dog and dobbin class at Xpole height. All against the clock Horse and Rider complete course 1-6 and race back to competitors’ box where rider dismounts leaving horse and teaming with dog to complete jumps 7-10. Timer finishing at fence 10.

Pairs Show Jumping (0.30m)

Prancer’s Pairs. Pairs must both complete course 1-10 against the clock one after the other. Rider 2 is not to leave the competitors box until Rider 1 has all 4 feet inside the box. Faults to early exiters, timer starts at Jump 1 with Rider 1 and ends with the last fence of Rider 2. Both riders will only be eliminated by refusal if one horse/rider combination stops more than once at any single fence or if both riders accumulate a total of 4 stops between them.

Take Your Own Line (0.40m)

Entries close 10 days in advance, late entries if available are £2 extra each.
Competition in Indoor Arena, warm up Outdoor.

Payment Details & Event Fees
All entries must be pre-booked in advance, via My Riding Life.
All Payments and bookings come directly to Beechwood Equestrian Centre.
Pre-entry only. Entries: Class 1 and 2 £6. Class 3,5,6,8,9,10 £13. Class 4 and 7 £20/pair. Lead rein permitted classes 1-4. Riders entered in classes 2-4 cannot enter classes 7-10
Arena Party: £5/rider
Late entries £2 extra per class

Prize Information
Rosettes 1st – 6th in all classes.

Refreshments:
Café will be open serving refreshments.

Withdrawals/Refunds
Refunds prior to closing have a £5 admin fee deducted; no refunds after closing date.

Terms & Conditions
Beechwood EC Terms and Conditions apply, can be found on our website or in reception

Access to warm up strictly for 30mins prior to test times, cool down 5 mins following test - maximum 6 horses in outdoor arena at any one time. Rounds will be ridden consecutively or as near as possible. Each rider may bring one additional person with them to assist only. No assistants in the warm up or competition arena. Social distancing and personal hygiene must be strictly adhered to. Any deviations from government guidelines will result in being asked to leave the site and no refunds will be given. Follow any directions on site at all times. Usual terms and conditions apply.

Results will be available online at the end of the day and rosettes will be posted to competitors, therefore please check your address is entered on My Riding Life.

Café open for takeaway drinks, snacks and light meals only.

The secretary's office will be closed. Any issues on site please attract the attention of a member of uniformed staff and we will come outside to assist.

These competitions are going to be slightly different than usual, so we can adhered to government guidelines Re: Covid 19 and keeping everybody safe. Please follow all our show centre instructions to make this enjoyable and a safe experience for everyone involved.
