PRINT YOUR OWN NUMBER
Numbers will not be given out for Number Bibs. - PRINT your own numbers using Type Face – Helvetica Font size – 300. You will need 3 copies - 1 for front of bib/ 1 for back of bib/1 for window or lorry or car towing trailer.
WALKING THE COURSE
The courses may be walked between 9 and 11am on the Saturday before the event (the gates will be locked at 11am) & on the day. Please observe social distancing.

EVENT WILL BE RUN IN LINE WITH CURRENT COVID 19 guidelines and restrictions. These will be adhered to on the date of the show. No admission to the show will be permitted without an entry. All entrants to read the rules below as well as any updated instructions that may be issued with your times and numbers to take account of up-to-date restrictions

Payment Details & Event Fees
ENTRIES All online at My Riding Life. There is NO contact with the show secretary on the day. You can book using our Secure Online Entry System. Payment is secure and it goes directly to Mid Surrey Pony Club.
You will receive an email confirmation of your booking and payment.
Entry fees: Class 1 & 2 £19 (Mid Surrey members £16) plus first aid
Classes 3, 4, 5 and 7 £19 (Mid Surrey members £16) plus first aid
Class 6 £34 per pair (Mid Surrey members £30) plus first aid
First Aid per competitor - £5
BIBS
Number bibs are required—£10 to purchase only (not hire) on the day or order in advance via the “myRidingLife” entries web site. NO RETURN of BIBS
Results will be published on Mid Surrey Pony Club Website. If you have won a rosette, you may pick this up from the table outside the secretary’s office in the barn. Alternatively, please either leave with the secretary or send to her a suitable stamped (large letter stamp) addressed envelope (no smaller than A5) at Tumber House, Slough Lane, Headley, Surrey, KT18 6NZ and your rosette will be sent to you.

No unattended horses to be tied to outside of lorries/trailers.
Entry to the event is deemed approval for any photographs taken at this event to be used on the website or any other promotional material by the Pony Club.
This cross-country competition will only be held if the ground conditions permit. If in doubt please telephone the Secretary. £5 will be retained for Administration in the event of cancellation.
No stopwatches allowed. Riders must proceed directly from the last fence to the finish.
No horse/pony to be ridden more than once in each class.
The Judge’s decision is final.
Dogs must be kept on leads in the Pony Club Field.
Entries will not be refunded without a veterinary certificate.
Hard Hats conforming to PC standards MUST BE WORN AT ALL TIMES with chin straps done up when mounted. No fixed peaks.
Long hair. In the interest of safety, long hair must be secured appropriately in a hairnet. Hair must not obscure the competitor’s number at any time.
Save for the death or personal injury caused by the negligence of the organisers, or anyone for whom they are in law responsible, neither the organisers of this event nor The Pony Club nor any agent, employee or representative of these bodies, nor the landlord or his tenant, accepts any liability for any accident, loss, damage, injury or illness to horses, owners, riders, spectators, land, cars, their contents and accessories, or any other personal property whatsoever, whether caused by their negligence, breach of contract or in any other way whatsoever. Entries are only accepted on this basis.
The organisers of this event have taken all reasonable precautions to ensure the health and safety of everyone present at this event. For these measures to be effective, everyone must take all reasonable precautions to avoid and prevent accidents. They must obey the instructions of the organisers and all officials and stewards and must make themselves aware of all pertinent Pony Club Rules.
Competitors who are not members of The Pony Club are not covered by The Pony Club insurance and must have their own third-party cover. The Mid Branch of The Pony Club and the organisers of this event are not legally responsible for non-Members and their insurance will not cover you.
MEDICAL ARM BANDS: It is the competitor’s responsibility to wear a PC/BE medical armband during the cross-country phase if they have a medical condition that may impact on their care in the case of an emergency. Conditions that are relevant includes serious past injuries/surgery, chronic health problems such as diabetes, long-term medication and allergies. If in doubt competitors should consult with their own treating physician. Cards must contain the competitor’s details where indicated and must be worn on the competitor’s arm or shoulder in such a way as to be visible at all times. It is not compulsory for competitors without any medical conditions to wear a medical armband providing there is an adult supporter with them. Arm Bands can be purchased from the secretary on the day for £5.00.

Competitors using body protectors that require a key MUST log that key with the event secretary on the day.
