Senior riders should be turning 17 years old or older in the current year. Stallions are not permitted to jump in any Club classes. Qualifying period: 1st July 2020 to 30th June 2021. Numbers to qualify: The Top 20 from each of the four height category league tables, will qualify for the National Club Championships held at the British Showjumping National Championships. Club registered horse(or pony)/rider combinations are eligible to qualify and in more than one height category. Points 1st = 12, 2nd = 10, 3rd = 8, 4th = 6, 5th = 4, 6th = 3. Double Clear Points = 3. Points are allocated depending on the number of starters; every one in five registered starters is eligible for points. If you gain a double clear you will receive three points regardless of starters. If a combination competes in more than two consecutive height classes per show day only the points from the bigger classes will be graded. British Showjumping Boots / Leg Protection Ruling applies to this class, in accordance with Rule 102.15. Failure to comply will incur disqualification.

Riders who have ever competed as a team member of any Senior International Team (4* or 5* Nations Cup in the last 10 years, World, European Championships & Olympic Games) are not eligible. Pony Riders, Children, Juniors and Young Riders who have ever competed in Nations Cup/International Team Events and European Championships in the last five years are not eligible (excluding Veterans and Para Teams). Qualifies for: 85cms National Amateur Second Rounds. Qualifying period: 1st September-31st August inclusive. Numbers to qualify: Those horse/rider combinations which jump clear in the first round, followed by a clear round in the jump-off, in at least five 85cm National Amateur First Round competitions held in the qualifying period will qualify to compete in the respective height classes at the National Amateur Championships. Numbers to qualify: Those horses that jump a clear round in the first round, followed by a clear round in the jumpoff, in at least four First Round competitions held in any qualifying period, will qualify to compete in the Second Rounds, irrespective of their placings for prize money in those competitions, which will be determined by the normal Table A Rules (Rule 191). Qualifies for: British Showjumping National Championships. Qualification period: 1st June-31st May. Numbers to qualify: Two double clears (subject to revision). Qualification is horse/rider combination. Note: 1.15m Members Cup Qualifiers are permitted to be combined with Opens. In the event of 30 or more starters, the class will be split and two sets of prize money will be awarded. • 1.15m Open For registered horses in Grades: A, B & C to be ridden by Adult, Associate or Junior Members.

Late entries will be charged £2 extra per class. Entries for this event will close on Thursday 10th February after which time the late entry fee will be applied.

Withdrawals/Refunds

Affiliated shows are required to repay 50 % of the entry fees in respect of all entry cancellations which are received by the Show Organiser not later than 48 hours before noon of the day on which the first affiliated competition of the show is scheduled to start except in those circumstances outlined in Rule 79.5.

Terms & Conditions

 1. RISK - Any items brought into the Show Ground or left in vehicles or tack lockers (whether locked or not) are at the Competitor’s own risk. Competitors shall take such steps as are necessary to secure their property whilst in the Show Ground. Competitors are responsible for ensuring that their horses are in good health and each competitor shall take all necessary steps to prevent the contracting or spread of any disease or illness at the Show. Competitors will wear an appropriate riding hat whilst riding leading and grooming horse. Competitors acknowledge that wearing a body protector may reduce the severity of an injury should an accident happen. It is the Competitor’s choice whether to wear a body protector. Upon any entry to any competition at the Show each competitor acknowledges that he/ she is taking part in a risky sport and that he/she accepts those risks including the risk of injury. Each competitor represents that he/ she is a competent rider at the level of competition in which he/ she has entered. If a Competitor has any doubt as to their experience and ability to compete safely he/she will use their judgement and experience and not enter. 2. INSURANCE – Competitors are personally responsible for damage to: any buildings, land, equipment or any other property in the Show Ground; or to any third persons caused by the Competitor, their employees, their agents, or their horses/ ponies. Each Competitors represents that he/she has valid third-party insurance providing full coverage for the participation in and attendance at the Show. 3. VACCINATION CERTIFICATE – Due to recent cases of Equine Flu in the UK, all flu vaccination certificates and passports may be checked upon arrival at the Show Ground All horses must have been fully vaccinated within the past twelve months before arriving at the event. Horses recently vaccinated must have six clear days after the vaccination before arriving at the Show. Horses without a valid vaccination certificate within passports on arrival will not be permitted entry to the Show – NO REFUNDS WILL BE GIVEN 4. RULES - All classes will be run under BD rules (if upon achieving a qualifying score you choose to take part in the SEIB Trailblazers championship series please check your eligibility http://www.trailblazerschampionships.com) 5. PRIZES - Prizes in kind to third place (dependant on entries, placings 1st to 3rd offered per 5 entries, i.e. 5 entries 1st place, 6-10 entries 1st & 2nd place, 11-15+ 1st ,2nd & 3rd place ....Rosettes to 6th Place 6. CHILDREN - On no account must children 16yrs & under be left unattended 7. HOUSEKEEPING - Lorries & trailers must not be skipped out in parking areas, haynets not to be fed from sides of lorries & trailers – NO RUBBISH TO BE LEFT ON SHOW GROUND 8. SMOKING – Is not permitted within any building or marquee on the Show Ground 9. SHOW GROUND ACCESS – Will be granted from 8.00am – please do not arrive before this time 10. DOGS – No dogs on Show Ground 11. RESPONSIBILITY - To the fullest extent permitted by law the organiser shall not under any circumstances be responsible for any loss, injury, illness or damage to or any theft from, any Competitor, any horse or other animal, any vehicle, or any other property whatsoever in the Show Ground, provided that nothing shall exclude or limit the Organiser’s liability for the death of or a personal injury to any person caused by its negligence or that of its employees or agents.
