Show Information

ENTRIES CLOSE TUESDAY 5th October 2021
Open to both Seniors and Juniors (Open and *Restricted classes)

This is a fun, non-qualifying competition aimed at riders who are not experienced at Le Trec, to give you and your horse a fun day out.
The event is broken into three sections. 1- Obedience test, 2- Control of paces, 3- Obstacle course.
The aim is to reward combinations performing well over a range of tests rather than any one discipline. All sections and obstacles are optional, and failing to complete a section does not incur elimination from the competition. Points gained from all sections are totalled for a final score.
Although following BHS guidelines, this competition will not comply with BHS standards. (Please refer to rules and guidelines overleaf).
Please also note help will be on hand - as the intention is for this to be a fun (give it a go) event.

We won’t be awarding points for tack and turnout
However, the following rules will apply: All phases to be ridden in the same bit and saddle; whips not exceeding 75cms and short rounded spurs are allowed; only running martingales are allowed (but when leading, the reins must be detached from the martingale); hats must be of current BHS/BRC standard and worn at all times whilst mounted. Gloves must be worn. Smart /Casual attire, with correct foot wear.
Body protectors MUST be worn for obstacle phase
