THERE WILL BE EXTERNAL FIRST AID, AMBULANCE and VET IN ATTENDANCE

Over-night stables are in permanent buildings and cost £29.00 per stable per night.

Stables are available from 16:00 on the day of arrival till 15:00 on the day of departure.
The stables come with a shavings bed and we ask that they are fully mucked out and banked up or re-laid on departure.
All horses/ponies must be fully vaccinated, certificates must be available to view on request.
West Wilts EC reserve the right to charge an additional clean up fee of between £5.00 & £10.00 for any stables not correctly mucked out.
You will need to provide all other equipment for your horse/pony.
Sorry but we do not have electric hook up.
There is NO SMOKING allowed anywhere on or around the stable yards.
ALL dogs must be on a short lead at ALL times.
There will be a stabling list and directions on the door to the main office.
The external door to the toilets will be left open and lights for this will be left on over-night.
Use of arenas outside of the competition is by prior arrangement/booking only, and availability cannot be guaranteed.
There is no hacking/exercise available on any of the grass areas.

RESULTS: These will be posted the website at the end of the competition day (by 20.00). Please leave the venue as soon as possible after riding.

PRIZES: There will be NO prize giving. Prize money forms will be emailed to placed riders. Stamped Addressed Envelopes to be left for Rosettes /Dressage Sheets. Prizes 1st Place £30.00, 2nd £25.00, 3rd £20.00 Rosettes 1st – 6th

A refund, less £10.00 admin fee, will be made for withdrawals made via email before the close of entries at Midday on 9 SEPT. PLEASE ADVISE US OF WITHDRAWALS VIA EMAIL info@westwilts.com After the close of entries, no refund will be given unless replaced from wait list. These will be subject to a £10.00 admin fee. In the event of abandonment (or cancellation of event due to Covid 19) entry fees will be returned less £15.00 abandonment fee –start fees will be refunded in full.

CONDITIONS OF ENTRY. SJ
• All entries and payments to be made online.
• Any visitor who displays any symptoms or suspects they may have contracted Covid-19 must obviously not attend the venue.

•  ALL horses must not be under current investigation for infectious diseases including, for example, Equine Herpes Virus (EHV), Equine Influenza, Strangles.
•          Must not have been in contact with and is not kept on the same premises as a horse known to have or be under investigation for the neurological form of EHV, Equine Influenza, Strangles or Equine Viral Arteritis. 

• All activity will be in accordance with the advice from the relevant national body, and ANY social distancing guidelines must always be adhered to.
• Please keep your time on site to a minimum, please don’t arrive more than 40 minutes before your test/round/ride time and leave the site as soon as it is safe for your horse to travel.
• Hand sanitising stations will be provided and members are encouraged to take home their rubbish where possible.
• Please park considerately, a safe distance from each other. Current recommendations are 10m apart if there is tying up on both sides of your box; 5m where tying up is on one side, and 3m apart if no tying up is used.
• All competitors will be limited to 4 supporters per horse. No other person(s) should be in attendance.
• Please do not park in front of or block access to the loading bay.
• PLEASE PRINT/MAKE YOUR OWN ALLOCATED RIDER NUMBER OR USE YOUR NUMBER DISK. NUMBERS WILL BE ALLOCATED WITH TIMES. THIS MUST BE WORN AT ALL TIMES AND MUST BE EASILY READABLE.
• NO spectators or filming are allowed in any of the warm up or competition arenas. Please use viewing areas.
• Warm up time may be limited by numbers allowed in arena to an estimated 30 – 40 minutes
• You are expected to ride on your allocated times. If you do not do so, you risk being unable to compete.
• We ask that competitors maintain any social distancing in place at time of competition and, once you have finished competing, you leave the site as promptly as possible.
• No scoreboards or screens will be used on event and all scores/results will be published online at the end of the day.

No rosettes, score sheets or prize money will be available on the day. Please email us for a copy or leave an A5 Large Letter Stamped Addressed Envelope for rosettes and dressage sheets. Prize money forms will be emailed to placed riders at the end of the day, these are to be returned within 7 days of the competition and prize money will be paid by BACS within 21 days of the competition.

GENERAL CONDITIONS AND RULES

RULES
Scoring and Penalties will be run in accordance with BE and includes COVID_19 Regulations – Please observe all current guidelines.
The organisers reserve the right to refuse any entry. No horse or pony may compete in more than one class.

PASSPORTS/VACCINATION CERTIFICATES – MINIMUM OF WITHIN THE LAST 12 MONTHS A passport/vaccination certificate with a complete history MUST be brought with the horse/pony.  Please check WWEC current vaccination policy on our home page. No changes will be allowed on the day in the event of Vaccinations failures.

COURSE
There are 3 courses, all over fixed fences and approximately 2 km on permanent pasture.
PURPLE for the 80 CMS ORANGE for the 90 CMS PINK for the 100 CMS
All competitors are responsible for making way for and not impeding overtaking competitors. Inconsiderate riding leading to obstructing another competitor could lead to elimination at the Steward's discretion.
Elimination and Retiring Any competitor who is eliminated or who retires must leave the course immediately at a walk.
Walking the course. The course will be open for inspection on foot only from 2 pm until 7pm on the day before the competition or on the competition day.
Results: The winner will be the competitor with the least number of faults. Results will be posted online at the end of the day, by 20:00.

NUMBER BIBS
Competitors must wear the correct number at all times when mounted. COMPETITORS MUST SUPPLY 3 COPIES OF THEIR OWN A4 NUMBERS 2 FOR YOUR BIBS AND 1 DISPLAYED IN YOUR VEHICLE WINDSCREEN.

HATS & BODY PROTECTORS
Everyone mounted, whether competing or not, must wear an appropriate hard hat (to comply with current BE Rules) For the cross country element body protectors are obligatory as per the BE approved list (See current rule books) Half chaps/matching boots may be worn

PRIZE GIVING

DISCLAIMER OF LIABILITY
Neither the organisers nor the sponsors accept any liability for any accidents, injury, illness or damage to or by horses, owners, riders, spectators, ground or any persons or property whatsoever. We strongly recommend that all persons entering West Wilts have Third Party Insurance in order to protect themselves from injury or damage compensation claims caused by them or their animals.

HEALTH AND SAFETY
The Organisers of this event have taken reasonable precautions to ensure the health and safety of everyone present. For these measures to be effective, everyone must take all reasonable precautions to avoid and prevent accidents occurring and must obey the instructions of the Organiser, Officials and Stewards. You are politely requested to comply with the requests of any Official in order to ensure the safety of yourself and others while attending the event. Third Party Liability insurance for horse and rider is strongly recommended.

GENERAL
Horses can easily be frightened and can be dangerous. All pedestrians are requested to keep clear from horse areas/lanes and to avoid behaviour that might alarm horses. Dogs must be kept on a short lead at all times. Emergency Services must have access to all parts of the event site at all times and attendees public must not park vehicles so as to obstruct access. Disability Notice Any person attending the event who suffers from a disability and/or have a wheeled disability conveyance should park in the area designated for disabled parking. Access to the XC course may be limited for safety reasons. Disability wheeled motorised conveyance owners should ensure they have third party liability insurance cover.
