Timings: Class times will be made available with bridle numbers on Friday 2nd July. Competitors will be given a specific time that they can enter the warm-up, then a specific time for their competitive round. IF YOU MISS YOUR TIME THEN YOU MAY NOT BE ABLE TO JUMP. No paper numbers will be given. You may use your own bridle numbers, alternatively, remember your number and give this to the steward in the warm-up and you will be called for your round in order. Course walk will be approximately 15 minutes before the start of each class.
Vaccinations for all horses must be up to date and must be current within the last 12 months. Please complete the Health Declaration Form before attending the venue and bring your horse's passport with you to present to the Show Secretary. https://forms.gle/PPnHYRPc5FugJPpH7

Show Information

Entries: Close of entries is Thursday 1st July. We reserve the right to close entries before this date if classes become full. After close of entries no further entries will be accepted.
Sections: Junior riders to be 16 or under on the day of competing
Dress code: Smart, hair tied back, no jewellery (stud earrings/wedding bands only). Rain coats (no hoods) can only be worn at the discretion of the judge.

QUALIFIER FOR SUNSHINE TOUR
The Sunshine Tour Championship 16th – 19th September Achieve 1st to 6th in the above classes to qualify for the Championships. Then fill in the details on your Qualifier Form and ask the Show Secretary or Organiser to sign it. Withdrawals/Refunds

Withdrawals/refunds: In line with BS rule 79.5 cancellations received by noon 48 hours before the first day of competition will have 50% of the entry fees refunded. After this time, no refunds or transfers will be given. If weather conditions are extreme, please check our website for updates or call in case of cancellation.

Covid-19 Restrictions and Guidance
1) If you or someone you have recently been in contact with or is showing any of the following symptoms: unusual tiredness/fatigue, fever or high temperature, dry cough, aches, pains, nasal congestion, runny nose, sore throat, diarrhoea, then we ask that you please DO NOT attend this event.
2) Competitors may have a support bubble of no more than 6 people from no more than 2 different households attend with them.
3) Hand sanitizing stations will be available throughout the facility.
4) Face masks must be worn when inside the Clubhouse and Café, and when walking the course.
5) Spectators are welcome.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS
Entry constitutes an agreement to be bound by & to abide by the rules and regulations of Wellington Riding.

Rules pertaining to the Health & Safety of all persons at Wellington Riding.
1) All competitors should wear a correctly fastened hat to the current BSI standards at all times when mounted on the show ground. 2) All dogs to be kept on a lead at all times & are not allowed in the arena. 3) All horses or ponies, when outside the arena, should be moved at walk only, to ensure the safety of all spectators and pedestrians. 4) Children under the age of 16 should be accompanied by a parent or guardian over the age of 18 years, who will be fully responsible for their behaviour and welfare. 5) Please note that flash photography is strictly forbidden. Mobile phones should be silenced during competitions. 6) Smoking is prohibited anywhere on site. 7) Please keep the lorry park clear of hay and droppings. 8) The organisers decision is final.

Although every effort will be made to ensure the safety of participants, horse riding is a high-risk sport and therefore, Wellington Riding and its staff cannot accept responsibility for any accident, damage or injury to horses, owners or other persons or property.

VOLUNTEERS: We are in need of show help for our busy events calendar. If you join us as a volunteer, we will offer you ‘on the job training’ and will give you the opportunities to go to accredited training courses by governing bodies such as BD, BS and BE.
